Dylan Aldridge in the B’s today for Moonta playing his second game for the year. Been playing down at North Adelaide all year and is named to play tomorrow in the ressies v Glenelg at Prospect.Not sure you can play 2 games in 1 weekend. Obviously Moonta trying to qualify him for their finals campaign.

Eagles play Ardrossan and Crows in the last 2 games and I think they will lose both. Ardrossan are on fire and Crows should have all their players back for the last game. If Eagles beat crows in the last game then they(Crows) won’t even make it and Ardrossan will play finals.

Rd 17

Bute v Moonta = Moonta
Moonta will respond this week after a wake up call from Ardrossan last week and the Bute boys will be hoping for a competitive effort against a top 2 side. Moonta to win against a up and coming young Bute side by around 5 goals.

Southern Eagles v Ardrossan = Ardrossan
Ardrossan finding form and a full side at the right time of the year. Eagles not at the top of their game at the moment like Ardrossan so I will go with the Roos. Ardrossan are up and about and I would assume a pretty good feeling around the club this week and that will flow into Satdy. Roos by 18 pts

CMS Crows v Wallaroo =Crows
Crows still missing a number of quality players and Wallaroo look like they have a full side. Looks to be a even match on paper but Crows at home and with so much to play for and the fact that generally Wallaroo aren’t good travelers so Crows for me JUST.

Paskeville v CY Cougars =Cougars
Pasky’s side looks a bit thin to me and don’t look to have a strong front 6 making scoring difficult. Tyson Wait back in after having a rest is worth 3 goals to the swooping Magpies. Can Cougars get back to the unbeatable side they were in the first half of the season? Did hear they have been getting flogged on the track in preparation for finals. Cougars to win the midfield battle and the inside 50 count giving themselves more opportunities to score.

Can’t see Crows playing finals this year. Ardrossan will beat Kadina Saturday and on current form Crows won’t beat the building Eagles. Fair drop if it happens from 12pts away from a premiership last year to missing finals.

Ardrossan v Kadina =
End of the road for Kadina this year but for Ardrossan it’s the start. Ardrossan will play finals with a win at windy hill tomorrow so I can’t see them letting this game slip. Roos by 4 goal.

Central Yorke v Bute =Cougars
Cougars need to find some form or will go out in straight sets in the finals. Bute will push them all the way and make it a real contest. Cougars at home and with the bigger bodies will win just again. Maitland by 15pts

CMS Crows v Southern Eagles = Southern Eagles
Elimination final for Crows, lose and season is over. Eagles back in form again with a great win against a loaded Ardrossan unit last week and will put an end to the Crows season. Eagles by 6 goals

Wallaroo v Paskeville = Paskeville
Wallaroo playing with a full deck again and if they can get it near R Westlake inside 50 then anything can happen. Paskeville missing key tall defender
M Daniel but apart from that also look full strength.With ordinary weather conditions forecast for tomorrow this could be the day of the small forwards, R Westlake for Wallaroo and Josh Wittwer for Pasky both can tear games apart. Paskeville to win just

Finals week 1

QF @ Paskeville: Moonta v Southern Eagles=Moonta
Should be a good game as all finals should be. Southern Eagles have been a bit inconsistent the second half the year and the big fella up forward has gone cold after having a fantastic start to the season and will need him to lift if they have any chance Saturday. Moonta have had a almost perfect second half of the year only dropping the 1 game against their bogey side Ardrossan. Moonta are well rested after having the bye last week and should run over the Eagles in the last quarter. Moonta by 25 pts

EF @ Maitland: Paskeville v Ardrossan =Paskeville
Both sides look to be at full strength and again should be another cracking contest. Pasky have beaten them twice this year but they are fully loaded now and have had time to gel. Paskeville has had a good lead up to finals beating top side Cougars and a improved Wally World. Pasky need to keep Wello quiet as his run and goals has hurt them in the past. Ardrossan have to get it past Tyson Wait across half back for them to have any hope, he’s been in fantastic form this year and he’s built for finals footy. Paskeville by 15 pts
