Even though gave them a good chance at winning, Iggy missed his 3rd FT but then hit a big three only for it to be waved off because of the clock. On other Warriors news Bogut is now indefinately sidelined.

250k is pocket change for the NBA
Its the equivalent of an AFL club being fined 10k

250k isn't much but it's pretty harsh considering they almost beat the Heat!

I would have loved to see Stern fine them then. They only got the fine because it was a big game vs the Heat.

If they didn't have such a tough road trip ahead of the Heat game they wouldn't have rested so many.

Last season they rested everyone against Portland and I don't think they were punished?

If not already mentioned, it's good to see Mike Dunlap leading Charlotte to a better than expected .500 record as it stands right now.

Meh.

Yes they were good but Denver are so up and down, Meeks and co wont do this game in and game out, The only way you will go anywhere is if Kobe becomes the distributor and scores and Howard keeps performing. Meta World Piece has to be one of the most frustrating players in the league.

But it was a good bench performance, hopefully they can back it up

Lakers look a much better team when someone creates. Often is seems Pau Gasol has to do that job when Kobe just goes back to his 30 shots a game mentality. When he's happy to score 15 points but create for others LA look a championship contender. How they use Gasol is the big question though. He'd like the low post, but Howard needs that. Up high he could almost play point-centre but that would mean Nash and Kobe being little more than jump shooters which is a huge waste. For all his skills, it's hard to see him having a really effective role.

Can't believe the Spurs got fined. Fair enough the fans might be disappointed that they didn't get to see Duncan, Parker and Ginobili but the Spurs are trying to win a championship, not friends. It's a disgrace that the NBA are telling them they have to compromise their championship hopes for a road game they were always going to find tough.
