They must have partied on a bit too much as many of those Dogs' Grand Finals were not that memorable from a neutrals point of view. How many of the dirty dozen were actually good games? Naturally the Doggies will say nearly all of them but there were plenty of duds too.

Last quarter it was time just to take the piss and run down the clock. He had already kicked 2 goals for the quarter, the game was done and dusted so for the last 10 minutes Norwood just chipped it around inside our back half

Exactly 2000 was an absolute snore fest, only memorable to Dogs fans as their first premiership. Dogs played in their fair share of forgettable GF's

Agree!
as far as a contest it won't be remembered but it will be in the history books forever now and no doubt the answer to a question a quiz night here and there
Like I said since 2000 I think there may only be 5 GF's that ever get mentioned in 20-50 years time.

HAHA! What's the difference between being on this forum, and being on another one?
You can't see the difference? Really? Would you not think it slightly odd if i spent my time trawling through forums of other clubs just for the chance to hang shit on them if they happen to make and lose a GF?

At least they tried something different last year with the Rolling Stones coverband. Admission price must have been straight profit today! (I know there were 1000s of freebies but there were 1000s of paying spectators too).
Geez, weren't you happy with the singing mascots at 1/2 time, mini-league game, touch football oldies running around and the big announcement that the house lottery would be drawn at 3/4 time ? It's so hard to please you guys
The SANFL marketting department must have planned this for months !

I go to the footy for the footy, rather they bought a round of beers for me and my mates instead of paying for game day entertainment.
