Cochrane was drafted as a rookie. He's a Power listed player, not on the Magpies SANFL list like McLennan is (for now )

South have signed Will McCarthy from Wangaratta Rovers/Murray Bushrangers. He is a 191 cm midfielder/half back.

I think I read he is an extremely talented, hard running tackling machine with elite disposal by hand and foot who has decided to play in the SANFL instead of the AFL in order to really challenge himself and he has downplayed his favouritism rating for the Magerey Medal as an individual award that he will not concentrate on.
