Good morning at West Lakes this morning, 46 on the front nine after a triple on the 9th  then it went down hill with 53 on the back, main issue was my bunker play was horrendous, putting held up really well but Driving was the other issue, only hit the fairway off the tee on the 1st (bounce off a tree) and 17th.

Still good fun and blown the cobwebs off now, course in pretty good nick I thought, greens will be perfect once the sun comes out now they have had a core and top dress.

1st up at Flaggy.
Course is in much better condition then when I last played there, 2yrs back. The fairways aren't patchy.
Greens are quick. That will take some adjustment. Landed in a bunker, but that had little sand in it, but those are works in progress.
Bit rusty, but for the most part there are signs....
Ended up with a measly 16pts, rushed a few 1pt putts.
Legs started to feel the fairways on back 9.
Out to 16.9. I suspect this will head further north until I get more regular golf happening

Lady Bay yesterday

Sublime conditions weather wise.

The golf was well, solid off the tee. No lost balls. No real wayward hooks or slices.
The iron play was below average.
Greens recovering from being cored which made putting a lottery.
Some were slow and some quick. So lost a fair few shots on and around the green. Short game was poor, still trying to get that feel back.
100 off the stick with I think 4 x 7s and a 9  stuck in the bunker par 5 - 6th....

McCracken Cup next weekend. Hope weather is as nice as yesterday.

Started our sevens comp back at the vines Friday night, 50 off the stick and 16 pts playing off 24, aim to get down to 18 at least by summers end.

Only decent part of my game was my hybrids off the deck, lost plenty of shots around the greens.

Back again tomorrow night to have another dip, twilight golf is back :D

McCracken
Off at 7.10.

Drives were relatively good.
Only really 1 drive on the 8th a pull, made me punch through trees
But irons from the fairway were poor.
I pushed even managed to slice my 2nd on the 10th onto the 18th fairway and had to punch back to the 10th

Putting was OK.
Ended with 32pts which exceeded my expectations

Same for me today mate 32 points.

Golf is such a funny game, felt like I played like shit today yet 32 points yet last week I felt like I played really well and managed only 32 points. Go figure. I guess the difference was today, i parred most of the holes I get a shot on huge difference nailing ya 3 points as opposed to the 2 points.

Another cracking day to be out on the course.
For the golf... racked up 21pts on front 9.
Driving was solid, missed a few putts.
But overall quite happy.

10th, pull a drive into the water, salvage a point
The Driver fell apart on the back 9 and therefore the scoring hit a brick wall...
Par 3 13th got me today. Tee shot water, drop went straight in also....
13 pts to come home with

Overall 34. Adjusted gross 93 today and 95 yesterday.

Overall the weekend exceeded expectations in regards to score.
Course is in good nick Overall.

How is the course looking MT?

Played back 9 at the vines last night and saw some glimpses of some form coming back, 47 and 19 points with one scrub and 2 lost balls

Course is in good nick for 99%.
A few boggy patches around the place.
They have lift, clean replace but i only really used it a few times.
Few bunkers need some attendance.
Greens are firm and going to get quicker. Caught us out a couple times
