Re: Barossa / Light League
Scott Leal appointed the assocation coach to play the Hills League, With Scott at the helm we are sure to come runners up this year, like the past three years in the home and away season.

worth a look.
Some interesting points from there from a River Murray Footy League perspective (a league i follow fairly closely):
* is Chris Gerhardy from Imperials playing back in BLG this year or retiring?
* anyone got any info on Joel Mattschoss whos put in for a clearance to Ramblers, what type of player is he?

Re: Barossa / Light League
wondering how simon riddle from freeling goes? wat position? etc. also i see joe danis has been cleared to border districts, good pick up there. young ruckman/kpp has only played footy for a couple of years but improved such much, expect good things.

Riddle has played full back for the past few years at freeling. I think that is his best spot, not the best skills but a good key defender, Joe Danis has signed with Barossa Districts.

I believe Gerhardy is suiting up again for the Nuri Tigers - great bloke and player... wondering if he is on his last legs however...
Mattschoss is a forward/back flanker serviceable without being spectacular...
Tim Clarke was the #1 player in the AFL

Re: Barossa / Light League
Chris Gerhardy even on old ageing legs in the mid field will still contribute nicely in the BLG league . Not one of the strongest leagues going around in SA .
I still recall Chris being a part of the dynasty nuri created back in the 90s out there .

I wouldnt say having belief in my club and predicting a premiership all year having is " a big mouth " and i apologise if my wealth of knowledge in football circles makes you feel intimidated and inferior .
Yes i have been absent for a while due to yet another premiership and endless celebrations , where did kilburn finish in 2007 151 you peanut ?

Until Barossa Districts shake the mantle of having more wooden spoons then any other club in the BL&G and win a premiership with at least 3/4 locals in a team ill never hold any respect for them and either will most people .
If its not Barossa Districts its Kilburn you are on about , shouldnt be too hard to work out your identity ??
Many of the PD guys on this board know who i am , i played with a few of them both at A Grade level and in LOWER GRADES as you put it . Would love to hear about your illustrious career at the highest level sometime 151 .... was it with Barossa or Kilburn ???

Re: Barossa / Light League
Got some gossip
Freeling
Talking with Scott Bamford and Graham Kellett from North Adelaide, The legs have lost Cam Roberts and Frewen, also Sam Carmicheal either not playing at all or play some were either then Freeling, Story goes had a fall out with Leal
Tanunda
Martin Ballie gone to Imps at Murray Bridge, talking with Josh Willowby from Glenelg/ Swans cost them a lot of grapes one would think,
Any one got any trial game details?

What sort of player is Martin Ballie, Brad Man, is he the ruckman who moved to Murray Bridge to work in a bank?

Yes thats him, Not really a ruckman more of a handy leading forward, Strong leading type tends to take a lot of chest marks bit like that Simon Minton Connell from a few years back.
