SAAFL Div 1 & 1R (2009)

well Marc Cox hasnt been to training at Districts for 2 weeks. He was going well, getting along with everyone. Not suer if anyone knows if he is training elsewhere.

i believe it may have had something to do with a bloke that left haven to go back and play for districts dont want to mention any names on this forum but RORY DUEURDIN/BUTLER may have something to do with it

as they dont get along i have been told

Well he can't go back to Seaton either, there is a bloke there he doesn't get along with also.

from what i hear north haven wont have him back either, i think he crossed the president and a few people that thought they were mates, wouldnt mind seeing what the half back flanker thinks about all this

His father played footy at Gepps Cross very successfully but he hasn't been sighted in that neck of the woods.
I think they are well and truly informed of his previous disasters and would show zero interest even under the Father & Son rule! :lol:

greg (his father) by all accounts was a good footballer think he may have had a stint at a league club for a while, if my memory serves me correctly either greg or mark played at riverside/ portland at some stage in the lifes. greg is bloody hellarious

Greg was Rivvies last ever coach. We had a ball that year, didnt win too many games but he kept everyone together and interested in a tough situation.

The only way Marc would play at Portland would be for free...

And he doesn't play for free !!!

if he continues to treat clubs like this he is going to have to pay them to have a game.

would be a handy player to any club for free!!
each club would probs only get 2 games out of him before he left!

surely the bloke would relaise ow much of a wanker he would look liek to all these sides!

The bloke in the TAB at Lucindale is still on his world cruise and doesn't get back for another 9 months. He might meet up with the Loxton TAB bloke in customs as he is heading off on his cruise.

He's doing the rounds again with the same clubs Para Hills, Pt Dist, Kersbrook, won't be long he'll be having a crack back out at Encounter Bay, Seaton, Henley, Barossa Dist or even Nth Haven.
Thats 8 clubs in virtually 12 months, He's gone to more places than Father Christmas!

Spoke to a Gepps guy tonight, they are very disapponted that Smithy has once again left them chasing the elusive dollars.
Seems he wanted them to get him a job, my info is they have looked after him to the max. in every respect including a job but he can't hold them, very unreliable in this area and lets the people down.
It appears he's burnt the bridge for the last time so when his footy ability leaves him through age, what can he rely on for income then.
He really is a "one trick pony" so who knows what will happen when the playing days are finished!

Haven't heard a word lately about Gaza for this coming season. Does anyone have news on some new recruits or have they run their race over the past few years and will have to settle to be middle of the pack to bottom dwellers in Div 1 this season?

That is a real shame and a massive loss for GX. Pete is a legend however has let people down regularly on the job front....

Pete is well liked by alot of the guys at Gepps who except him for who he is.... Did want Gepps to find him a job from my mail, but when a club puts its rep on the line and gets burnt it would be reluctant to do it again....
