Gibbo is a good pick up. He will slot back into the midfield very well now that Bruno has left. Although they are not like for like players he is still a decent replacement. He has a freakish ability on the field.
heard the other day that goody saints have picked up yet another ruckman. was the state ruckman last year. dont know his name though. i think that brings their stocks to 4 good ruckman now. would be licking my lips if i was a B grade midfielder. would have to play at least one in the Bs i would think. unless they are going to have a massive forward line....

My info is that the 2 Port Dist boys have reniged on their word to sign with a Riverland club. Does this mean either Port Dist or someone else has opened their purse quite a bit wider? It will be interesting to see where they finish up. Certainly one of them wasn't worth what they were prepared to pay him, I wonder if the "other" guy will sign now?

From the horses mouth, Cupido did sign at gaza around about the 8th dec, considered playing with mates at TTG but in the end didnt like the colours. you dont think the connection through the coach and a few of the younger guys from west was enough to seal the deal?

When did gaza sell the pokies?
Handed them in a few weeks ago to Club 1, got $42K for the 6 of them and get a yearly trail of around $3K per machine. So apart all of his other vices, Mr Cupido also tells many lies, even to people he currently works with. That's the sort of bloke every footy club needs.
