Cove 3/240 off 40. Morphetville 8/60 when i left absolute disgraceful effort by the roos but well done cove definately the real deal look out . Morphetville certainly lacked the passion and desire to win i remember Mick Thomas carried his bat for 118 and D thomas looked awesome with 49 unlucky run out. then Brett Kinnear ripped through the roos top order that looked scared and did not value there wickets

ramblers 186 off their 40, af top scored with 69 while jc who opened made 40. 118 run opening stand. sth road in reply 155. wickets shared but new bloke richie veroude 4 for 24. dropping 7 catches definitely made sth roads score alot more respectable

Any clubs out there with kids looking for a game in Under 15's.
Not looking to poach juniors, but trying to top up numbers for this season.
We had 14, now 9 after some pulled out at the last moment.
We dont want these boys missing out.

Also, how are other ASCA clubs doing for numbers in Milo Cricket so far?

keswick just had a bad day. dropped sambo on about 30 or so doesn't help either. Kurt mckinnley nearly won the game of his own bat needing something like 30 runs of 12 balls and to go down by 6 runs not bad effort. Anyone else do well with the bat or ball.

all credit to Glenelg who bowled extremely tightly and fielded very sharply all day and deserved their win. Stef Basso took the game away from coro early with 50*n.o. Basso is a very good captain who sets good fields to tight bowling and knows his team and his oppositions strengths and weaknesses very well. Gotta make runs to win games of cricket!

On non Section 1 matters - I was impressed with young Simmery from Plympton on the weekend - good outies at a genuine medium pace and nice tall action - should be a real plus for the club in a few years time. Looks like he has a couple of yards to find yet - but nice smooth action and put the ball up on a length - very nice indeed. Thought young Oliver behind the stumps showed good movement - the guys tested him down legside quite a bit - and he was dead stiff to be given out lbw when he smashed it - but these things happen.

Yes wasn't good way to start, Cove will certainly be around come finals time.
With a few players back this week we should see all 4 sides put on a better performance next game.

Young siemering bowls very well and young Oliver done a great job considering I was the one giving him a little bit of trouble on the legs, he done very well and will most probably work his way into the A's by the end of the yr hopefully.

Those of us at the Ramblers v Sth Rd game won't forget a hit by Pottsy of me. Lobbed a full toss of mine over the road and into a neighbour's backyard on the full. Fair hit. 2nd biggest hit I've ever seen.
