If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

Must be that time of year.
Josh Kennedy announces his retirement at the end of year too.
He's a player I've greatly admired.

He was a huge one for us in the Judd trade and still feel overall we won that trade in the end.
Love this bloke.

Will Ashcroft nominating father / son to get to Brisbane.
Massive win for Brisbane there. Quality midfielder to add to the mix next season.

Daniher, Franklin and Hipwood with McStay off to Collingwood. Seems an odd move by Brisbane.Brodlach wrote:Lance Franklin allegedly told Sydney he will be leaving for Brisbane at seasons end

As good as Judd was, I agree with you. Carlton didn't win a flag with Judd, Kennedy was a huge catalyst in the Eagles success.
I always think of Jim Carrey in Fun with Dick and Jane when I'm watching him:

Re: 2022 AFL Season
Any debate around this trade is insane, Kennedy has been the spear head of the biggest club in the country for 15 years, kicking over 700 goals. West Coats laughed all the way to the flag because of it.stan wrote: He was a huge one for us in the Judd trade and still feel overall we won that trade in the end.

Re: 2022 AFL Season
Why would any club take on Buddy? Champion yes, but at 36 is he going to provide any value?

Re: 2022 AFL Season
Agree, I can't see why you'd bother. He'll take up a portion of salary cap space and not play every game. Unless you can afford to carry someone like that, there doesn't seem to be a positive to it.Dutchy wrote:Why would any club take on Buddy? Champion yes, but at 36 is he going to provide any value?
Brisbane have Hipwood and Daniher in their forward line already, why add a third?
As an aside, I think Daniher could make way for Buddy as I don't rate him but that's another story.

You don’t have a CHF anymoremighty_tiger_79 wrote:Be our best CHF since brownlessDutchy wrote:Why would any club take on Buddy? Champion yes, but at 36 is he going to provide any value?
You have a tall forward
A small forward
A defensive forward
A hybrid forward
A high forward
But not a centre half forward
