If you use the Miscore app it has a basic gps part to it. I also use the Grint app to track some stats and that has a decent gps component

Without trawling through previous pages I seem to recall someone on here having a weekend away in the Riverland some 12-24 months ago where the accomodation was for 10+ blokes and you had your own cooking area etc.
Can someone help?

Happy to let you in on some of our secrets! It's quite easy to see how profitable hosting golf tours can be.

This was most of our showbag this year. Only 1 ball maker per person.

my first stroke round at Flaggy this morning.
off the 10th and the first tee shot of the day wen sailing over onto the 18th fairway..... really, now is the time i decide to slice one out there
4hybrid got me back in play, bladed the 9i from 120m. but a handy chip back on and 1 putt and Par to start the day...
11th, the short uphill par 4 i take driver to lay up short of the sand. this also goes right and smashes into a tree which is already under sufferance from the recent storms. 7i from 140m and smashed it into the tree..... the next 8i got me on the green and 2 putt for the bogey and move along....
the next few holes were solid enough and finished with a 42 to start the front 9
onto the back 9 and was ok. the driver became a little more wayward but scrambled ok. putting was ok all day until the last, finished off with a poor 3 putt bogey. 45 back 9 and overall an 87.

was working on a few different things with both chipping and fuller swings, probably not the best time to do it during a round, but well why not, best time to see if it works is in comp i guess

Royal Adelaide open day yesterday. Course great as always, rough was brutal punishing anything offline. Tough day in the heat then wind (+1 on the handicap rating) when the change finally came through late. 20 points with a scrub on the front (3rd gets me every time) then fell apart on the last 4 holes for 33. Not a fan of 5 hour stableford rounds though.

I've played on this open day before. Hot, long day. Privilege to play there but hell, not sure I'd be rushing back

I've played it the last 3 years, was never this slow. We teed off at 12:15, guys who teed off at 7 were just finishing as we started so it was like that all day. Only takes one slow group to screw everyone over.

I've seen the other Open days are on Monday. I assumed RA was the same

The Monday ones are run by Golf SA. This one is run by the club itself. That one is 9th January

Only takes one nuffy to have never played the course to slow everyone down!
