Two of the players that are supposedly on big money haven't even been sighted for about 3 weeks now.
HaHaaaaaaaaa youre kidding arent you !!!
I know for a fact a lot of coin is getting thrown around up there and a lot of notorious money chasers are new signings for Maccy this year .... quite a few ex lions up there Kempster, Mitchell and Tamarapa and these boys will follow the money ... They certainly arent up ther for the fresh country air !!
Also know of a couple of other lions who were offered money up there and Kane Mac has just returned to the den for far less then he was on up there ..
welcome shake"n"bake are you a hills boy ? what club u with ?if anyone belives the cougar and says the james boys arnt getting any coin they are dreaming as much as he is !!
thats good about all of the juniors coming through we had 12 a graders on the weekend that played juniors for us. broadbridge, peterson-gray, stapleton, baldock, cutting, artis, dk, neilsen, maslin, chapman, temme, dawes. add to that burch whos been at lofty for about 7-8yrs, fleet and d. stapleton who were injured its alot more than most wouldve thought i think.. good on all clubs that keep big numbers at the club.

Yeah I must be dreamin......I've never seen the Club's bank balance before or involved with the Club, so I guess you're all right. Brett, Roger and Paul plus others are on massive dough and wouldn't adhere to Club Loyalty. They would also get big bucks for playing cricket for Kersbrook as they wouldn't wanna risk getting injured!
Here's a tip Joe Scuderi. When or if you lose to Kersbrook this week, get all the paid players (apart from Murph as he is a good bloke and coach) to give their $$$ back to prez Darren Wallace and apologize for losing to bunch of amateurs!

Good call cougar.
I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't getting a cent. Lets be honest, after earning thousands and thousands of dollars to play footy week in and week out, do you think there really going to care about a couple of hundred bucks a week.
Some people dont play football for money. They play because they love it and there club.
Re James Boys
This is just an opinion, but I doubt very much the James boys are playing for beer tickets at the Brookers. Sure, they may have taken significantly less than what they could attract from other rival clubs and leagues (which in iteslf is comendable to those blokes) but to believe they are on nought is a bit too optimistic and not realistic.
Tips for this week
Lofty if it's a dry track and they play like reported last Sat'dy night- If it's wet Blackwood in with a real show (Look out for the Blackwood version of the rain dance tonight)
Barker to notch up their first win of the year. The roos play right up to their potential, Hahndorf don't
Uraidla comfortably, midfield too strong and deep after some unfortunate injuries to key small dogs.
Lobethal have been looking forward to this, but hopefully not too much as Birdwood are getting better. Lobey will still win.
Ironbank will win a tough encounter against a rejuvenated Bridgey- we all know Bridgey love a small deck though.

looks like this week will be a good test for blackwood against lofty. The result should give us a gauge on weather they are fair dinkum this year or just pretenders again. I know that alot of you blokes are from lofty but how do you see this one going?

girth, im from lofty and do believe we'll win. however i definately see it as a real danger game. they have alot of quality players and a couple of boys that have kicked big bags of goals, this is always dangerous. i think we'll get them with our run though, we have alot of tough players that run all day. us by 5-6goals if blackwood are fair dinkum otherwise could be more like 10-12.
dangermouse, lets not forget that we beat blackwood in the wet last year without them scoring. dont be daft and jump off lofty in the wet.
In any type of weather, Lofty should win the big clash at Windy Hill. I have heard that Blackwood have some quality talls, but if they're a touch slow, it's not gonna work for them in the mud at Blackwood.
GTS is spot on with the run. Wet, dry, doesn't matter. The Onkas game (in fact that whole day's worth of footy) was rain that Noah hadn't seen, that was more than just wet weather footy. I think, for once, all games should be 'relatively' close.
Any Roosters wanna comment on whether they can knock of the Tigers? It'd be their best chance so far.
In fairness Blackwood are hardly the same team from last year. However Lofty's swifter legs should blow away Blackwood, rain or shine (or at least i hope )
It's great to have a season where there are some real uncertainties in match results. I don't care who spends cash, nothing beats playing the best and beating the best.
Hills boy through and through Wonder Elephant... I'm thinking that there may be a few surprised Hills supporters this week. Blackwood are a strong team across the board and though are older than most teams on average have the legs and smarts to go with most teams all day! Gigney will destroy poor delivery, and don't underestimate young Davey's rucking ability's (kid can play). The Woods are likely to hit in hard at every oppurtunity and the way they play their ground is a huge advantage... Think the fact that the game is being played at the Woods homeland is a decisive factor and could make for a close encounter. I'm going with the upset and picking Blackwood by 3 points!!!
M.Davey played for IB 4-5 years ago Hope we can poach him back one day :p
Anyone know if Chris deLawyer is playing for Blacky? Or is he playing Country Div? I cant remember seeing him against us (U/17 mail medalist from last year)
Tips for C grade tomorrow night? 6:30 at Heathfield
Uri Vs Onkas- Uraidla should win, hopefully by alot to show that the competition is closer between IB-Lofty-Uraidla
IB Vs Lofty- Apparently IB might have too many players for C grade this week! Every person at the club wants to line up against lofty, are lofty in the same boat?

After seeing the atmosphere at the last game, there have been about 10 extra players out at training. This will mean there has to be people missing out. Keep your eyes peeled for a player cleared to the club recently having a run.(Older dude, rates himself, usually on sidelines with team board on Sat's).
p.s Augg F@*K YOU!

Matt Davey is tall and does get his hand to the ball in the ruck but cant kick or take a mark. Chris Delawyer has left blackwood with his bro and a few others and gone down to noarlunga to play

Spot on about this dangermouse, as much as I hate Kersbrook I believe that the James boys (especially Roger) is back at the club because he genuinely has a love for the club. The majority of footballers will hold a special significance for the club that they began at. Kersbrook is one of those clubs that over the years tend to keep its locals loyal. I agree it may be a touch optimistic to say the boys are not getting any coin at all, I'd suggest they may be getting a small amount of cash or some incentives to cover the time and effort they are putting into the club. Either way there is nothing better than seeing ex AFL or SANFL players returning to their original club!
