Mate of mine that plays out at Wasleys told me that the President and himself havent been contacted yet about the league meeting. wasnt sure if they would be asked coming up before a date is set or not, but thought id just raise this as there are fellow forum competitors on here that do attend those meetings. They have had good numbers too apparently, so i hope all the best for there club for this year.

I never stated LM was past his bowling days....I wouldnt be silly enough to do that to a mate who i've known for more than 20 years and knowing how competetive he is. He's still hungry and young enough, hell he's not even 40 yet!

Ben would probably have been the quickest in Grade 2 over the past 2 or 3 seasons. It's weird, season before last he was erratic and bowling big innies, however last season he bowled good lines with a bit of outswing? May have slowed down a touch and tweeked his action to get the line and length and away swing, or may have suddenly learnt how to bowl one? See Ben quite often and if you are unsure if he is going around with Riverside Roodog then i might have to get in his ear.

thats funny... I heard this Luke Lister character was the one getting in Crees ear and turned him away from the club too... apparently he figured the best way to get into the As was to get in the ears of the other bowlers and make them leave

Haha, me? No way. Shane, from what ive heard around the traps that's 100% correct.

If any clubs have an excess of under 11's we have room to accomodate for a few more, we'll be playing Saturday mornings, no preference of talent or experience, we'll have a young side who'll probably struggle to win a game but we'll be focussing on development above all. We also have a couple of spots left in our 14's.

I don't think its you that I think cares, it would be the other 11 others (I say 11 cause i know you are not going to be playing A's, Jaz has already told the board he will not have you in his team) or so in your A grade that want Shane back.

Well another session down and 7 more for us before finals. Good to have abit of experience back at the club with Michael Ward returning to play cricket this season. Also Stevey Sewell is already having an influence and improving the standard of training sessions.
The A grade will be pretty similar to last year but overall a few older heads will be vital especially in helping steady the B Grade in which will be a new look side from last year.
