Crazy Finish. Matt Wade throwing at the stumps in the 2nd last over for no reason cost the Renegades going to a Super Over.

The comp is starting to turn, Stars getting everything going their way, Brad Hogg. Just like the last 3 years.

Some teams could be really affected by World Cup squad named tomorrow. Stars look like losing Faulkner and Maxwell, makes them considerably weaker. Don't think Strikers lose anyone, and if they did get Pollard back would help immensely.

Going to change the whole competition a lot I think.

If Adelaide make the finals and get back Pollard plus Hodge back I'll have a half mongrel.

I agree.

Based on what's happened so far, ladder position, games remaining and the talent drain it very much looks like a Strikers v Scorchers final 8) .....................in Canberra

A win to the Hurricanes today which is looking likely and the Strikers are looking a real good thing for a home Semi.

At the risk of getting ahead of myself with an SA cricket team, a win Monday locks that in.

I,ll never learn, I still live in hope that SA cricket will become a Superpower one day. ;) The fact we have a chance in the 20/20 after the rubbish we served up in the other two comps is a refreshing change.

My first "like" was an accident as I attempted to quote a post on my phone. Likes can't be undone, I was devastated :( Luckily the post I liked was actually a good one.

So the Strikers equation is now pretty simple.

We have qualified for finals. Woo hoo. 8)

One win from the last two games means we secure a home final.

Playing Sydney Thunder with no Hussey tomorrow. Hopefully they lose a couple to the World Cup squad also but not sure when those players become unavailable. At any rate I'm choosing to be excited for the next 3 Striker games. Hopefully 4 :D

Hopefully the game isn't a wash out
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Yep, I have tickets for tonight and I'm not feeling too good about the chances of a game.

Here is an interesting stat for you.

The BBL to date has averaged 931,000 viewers a game!!!!

Apparently the average AFL ratings in 2014 was only 811,000

Now I think those ratings are skewed a bit because the afl ratings would have included Foxtel only games and the FTA ratings would be much higher, but it shows how big the game has gotten.

You are forgetting that the NRL viewing audience is greater than the AFL's. Also have the Super Rugby which rates highly aswell.
