You guys have (imho) the best in the business assembling your list now. Sit back, relax and know there will be some decent incomings (and like seriously plenty of them from what I'm hearing)

Did our 202cm recruit shrink in the rain... or is this another big man? ;)

We're working on him.

As long as it doesn't turn out to be another Todd Grima, John Fidge, Jay Sheedy type story, lol.

What's Fidge got to do with it?

Ha, he was one player I remember we were going to sign and that was the talk until Glenelg stepped in and signed him.

Possibly the best full forward along with Hodges for a few years there in the late 80s/early 90s. Seemed to disappear without a trace in about 1992?

Sadly (for us at least) we have missed out on Shane Edwards; he has accepted a position at the Crows.

Probably would have been too old & sore next season anyway,
not having him makes way for more youthful players.

That would be great to have young Ethan with us; I hear we were also close to gaining his former Norwood teammate Tom Wagner but it is likely he will go to Payneham instead; haven't given up on him yet though - he is a young man of the highest integrity and a darn useful forward.

Tom is a fantastic lad just starved of opportunity at Norwood.

He grew so much in a short period of time

I think the same can be said of Ethan too...and with great Bulldog pedigree :)

Son of a gun or daughter of a gun?

Both kids can play.

Hoping for both. The Bulldog pedigree is very much in them both :)

I have it on good authority that Jai Larkins will be joining Ethan in the journey to the Ponderosa; highly rated by key people at Norwood :)

At this stage we have 8 lads signed who have played SANFL elsewhere. Also 3 interstate lads have signed (including two who were in the AFL system) and of course Jezza and his brother.
Throw in Barreau, Nietschke, Linke and Launer and the fight for round one spots will be on. I would suggest a decent pre-season is a definite for anyone wanting an opening round game.

A pretty extensive and promising list of recruits so far:

Jayden Hall
Hugo Munn
Jez McLennan
Louie McLennan
Mani Liddy
Ethan Schwerdt
Jai Larkins
Mihail Lochowiak
Anzac Lochowiak
Jacob Lochowiak

Apparently a few more to be named, including at least two who were on AFL lists.
