Re: NBA
Terrible possession by the spurs with a chance to win it and Duncan having to settle for a tough shot from close to 3pt territory

Didnt cost them in the end, got it done in OT and now take a 2-0 lead to Memphis.

why was it ever taken by new orleans?
They moved from Charlotte to New Orleans. NBA gave Charlotte an expansion license so legally a separate entity hence they required a new name.

Situation isn't too dissimilar to the Lakers moving from Minneapolis. They kept the nickname when they moved cities and when a new team started in Minnesota they had to pick a different name.

Re: NBA
Great game 1
George with a buzzer beating 3 to tie it up and send it to OT, looked the Pacers would win in OT but LeBron just got the winner off in time

Coach explained that basically he felt the need to respect Bosh's range. The help defense was most likely caught out by the speed LeBron got to the rim. With 2.2 left you would normally see a couple of dribbles and a jump shot and I'd imagine that was the intended result, but once LeBron saw the lane he probably figured 2.2 was just enough time and right he was.

Re: NBA
Indy tie it up 1-1.
Another big game from LeBron but two turnovers at the end cost the Heat the game.
Great series so far.

Re: NBA
Couldn't have asked for a better opening two games in the East and the rest of the series should be epic. Funny to think at the start of the year I thought the East wouldn't be terribly interesting but the West finals I expected a massive contest even in the semis.
High time the other two of the Big 3 stepped up and stopped looking like Mo Williams and Anderson Varejao in the Cavs days.

Re: NBA
Spurs up 3-0, trailed by as many as 18 in the first.
Went to OT where the Spurs outscored them 18-7
