Re: AFL 360 - (and other Foxtel footy programs)
did anyone see On the Couch on Monday night? In particular the ridiculousness of Gieschen interpreting the uninterpretable? So you can't push, block, bump or hold, but you can 1/2 push, 3/4 push 'use your forearm as a bumper' and hold your ground.
What a load of codswallop.

I just read that KB reckons Chris Scott and Nathan Buckley have lost it.......... http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/d ... 2j80y.html
Why don't the AFL realise we need a rules summit, not a rules committee and start listening to people who made the game what it is/was. Roos, Matthews, Walls........people of that type of ilk to determine what the game should look like. Not blokes who have a vested interest in it like KB who's there to keep himself gainfully employed and also defends his turf, when it isn't his turf to defend.

Re: AFL 360 - (and other Foxtel footy programs)
There is only two rule changes i like in the last 10 years.
1/ Chopping the arms, rewards the player infront.
2/The rush behind rule, makes the players play the game.
The rules i despise are
1/ The sliding rule
2/ the 4896 different interpretations of the holding the ball these days
3/ the sub rule (has killed fantasy football lol
)
4/ the 25 for running within the 5? metre zone after a free kick, especially when the player has no intention of affecting the play and on occasions is following their opponent.

Yeah I wouldn't be listening to Matthews any time soon. He's becoming the new KB.

The Chief, Andrew Demitriou is on AFL360 tonight, looking forward to it, even if we don't get any new info out of him.

Did anyone watch On The Couch interview with Peter Jackson? Impressive man and seems the right man for Melbourne going forward.

Watched it, and can understand why the AFL were keen to get him involved at Melbourne.

Re: AFL 360 - (and other Foxtel footy programs)
Did anyone see the twitter Convo between KB and Jordan Lewis played on last nights AFL360. For once I actually agree with KB, Lewis one the footy then lead with his head, stand up straight and protect your neck... Would much rather a hip and shoulder aimed at my chest so I can turn my torso and bump back, then lead with the head and risk injury....
