Another billionair apparently. I think the first team to be sold to a trillionair will be the next big thing. These billionaires are nothing anymore......

Re: EPL Season 2013/2014
Good training run for lads tonight, nice easy 5-1 win over the A-League Allstars
Lingard and Welbeck with a brace each.
Both Lingard and Zaha did enough to suggest they will have some role this season

No indication at all, due to a scheduling clash the Socceroos were playing South Korea over there and that side was made up of mostly A-League players.
It is only a practice match afterall and at full strength United would beat half the national sides that go to next years World Cup

Re: EPL Season 2013/2014
Both sides have players in off season so no excuses and the home team lost significantly to a travelling side .
A league all stars suppose to be decent players from the league from all teams.. As I have continually said the a league sides would struggle in the championship even .

As I said the better players are in South Korea playing for the Socceroos.
But yes the A-League is probably only League 1 standard.
United at full strength would beat the Socceroos and probably the English national side aswell though

Hey I used to follow Adelaide city and was a season ticket holder for about five years .the league was better IMO back then. Whether or not players are off for break or playing in friggen Antarctica , the A league is poor and always will be while it competes with Europe as an example at the same time of the year. Yes playing when the afl is on would be even worse but its a poor league jim . If you believe it's good then it your choice.

Re: EPL Season 2013/2014
yes, and you also said the "better players" are elsewhere. I don't think these so called "better players" would change much.
again, I would love to see our league prosper, but it will never be any good. I really want Australia to have a league that competes and attracts the good players, not has beens or players in their years of retirement. I really want us to win the world cup, but that wont happen in our life time.
