Valente and McInerney the other two left out from the 15 man hub. Would expect Luke Robins would be 12th man and they play Liam Scott who they love.
Is Liam Scott an allrounder? If so I'm assuming he's picked over Valente?
No Lehmann and no Ferguson now, Cooper will play surely? I'm so used to having at least 2 of them in the Redbacks team after all three being the middle order for an extended period of time.
I thought McInerney would partner Hunt at the top of the order.
Liam Scott is an all rounder, so competing with Valente for that spot. Gone the youth.
McInerney was never playing, can only open and Weatherald and Hunt were going to get that gig.
Cooper the only older bloke left now, with Sayers.

No Lehmann, now no Ferguson
Dizzy and Pyke go whack. Pity there's so few good young batsmen waiting in the wings.
If I was a 17/18 year old batsman from NSW I'd be making a beeline for SA

Are people unhappy with these selections? Not sure how to take these posts. People have been calling for changes for years, onwards and upwards

Not unhappy, little surprised though Ferg didn’t get a gig.
Hopefully though it’s the cage rattle they need

cricket.com.au says WA won the toss and elected to bat
So important for us that Liam Scott can hold down a spot. Allows us to play a spinner and not cook our quicks

2/187 at tea
We don't really look like taking 20 wickets with this attack
Lucky batting is our strength

Would be helpful if one of our quicks was able to get a Day 1 wicket

Day 2 progress scores WA 5/413, just rolling on from yesterday and putting the foot down now. Inglis 100* and Agar 101* brought up their centuries within an over of each other. Queensland 1/72 at lunch v Tasmania

Interesting listening to him on 5AA the other night, they asked if he had ever spent anytime with Warnie and said only a few minutes while he was commentating at AO.
Why wouldn't CA make sure Warnie does some work with any up and coming leggie in the country?

Yes
There is something with Popes action that irks me, maybe he isn't as strong as Shane he looks a little rushed in his delivery action
