Was announced quite a while ago. There is a chimney ceremony next week which is a ticketed event at the Brickworks but they're not actually unveiling the chimney which makes it pretty pointless, just a 2.5m replica
They're not even painting the chimney as such, just an aluminium boarding which will go around the chimney.

There was 2 points to previous ceremonies, one was actually seeing the chimney unveiled, the other was players, officials and hanger ons hitting the free turps in the West End bar neither of which will happen from now on.

On another note, I'm at the Royal waiting for the Eagles pre GF party to commence, only one bloke with an Eagles polo on so far, he'll have a good chance of winning the signed guernsey!

Just saw tickets to the WAFL GF being sold online with specific zones for South Freo and Subiaco fans, not a bad idea.

Being played today, with only a 6-day prelim break, so don't know why we couldn't have played today.
Pity it isn't on on of Channel 7's channels.
But the Reserves played at 9.00am before the Colts. Unless there's some reason I'm not seeing, it seems like an insult. And AFL Scouting bullsh!t isn't a reason.
