Good to see the Paddle pop lion jag another premiership. Pity it was for porties. Sad news about Sullies and its sad to see there players deserting them. They were fielding a decent A grade team full of young talent but it seems to have fallen apart.

Tazz, any news on who got the awards at the Sullies presso's? Have to be Howard or Dedicoat for batting and Holdsworth bowling? Cricketer of the Year Howard or Dedicoat? Couldn't get down there myself on such short notice. Would have been good to see New Day Rising play again too.

The pricks double booked the club and wont let us use the gym to do it in coz our band was to play and that might annoy the private function in the main room.

have heard a bit of talk about this idea, Whats the chance of not this year but in the next 2-3years with reynella not fieldin their best two
teams in our comp and sullies mite be pullin out of the a grade comp, joinin the great southern league and makin a ''super southern'' comp just for A grade teams where they play each other once not sure how many teams they have though but could be a few one day games aswell dependin on how many teams
would be in it.then both leagues b c and d grade can stay the same in there own league just the a grade combine, any thoughts

Gee porties win one gf and now you want a super league..........haha
Sounds a good idea, but too much work and i dont think too many players would appreciate the extra travel especially with some of the games finishing late

I'd hardly call a player who returns to his original club, takes a mate with him who was pi55ed off with things going to a club who had not won an A Grade flag for 32 years chasing glory.

I also hope that the rumour regarding Sullies folding is incorrect and the current committee continue to work hard to get new players and improve things regarding the soccer.
