Not enough money in TAB pools to warrant bets on exotics.
We usually get fixed odds on bet365 (forecast and tricast) [emoji16]

That is true.
Although the right combo and adjusted the stake to accommodate the pool size can still nett a good result.
B365 on dogs is dead for me :(

Tip for tonight at angle park
R3 box 2 - Muster
Strong win last start and trialled 42.90 a week and a bit ago over the 730.
Opened $7, now $5.50 will shorten more. should be right in the mix in this field

Piece of shit.

https://www.racenet.com.au/news/greyhou ... s-20240617

Former premiership-winning South Australian greyhound trainer Tony Rasmussen has been banned for life and fined a record $220,000 after being found guilty of a string of welfare and integrity charges.

Rasmussen and his wife Lisa were suspended in July last year after horrific surveillance footage surfaced of the pair mistreating greyhounds at their now de-registered Gifford Hill property.

Following an exhaustive process, the Integrity Hearings Panel (IHP) on Monday announced that Rasmussen had been found guilty of all 11 charges leveled against him, eight of those in relation to the mistreatment of greyhounds.

Rasmussen pleaded not guilty to all 11 charges.

The life ban and record $220,000 in fines, $20,000 for each offence, is the most significant penalty delivered in South Australian greyhound racing history.

In relation to Lisa Rasmussen, the IHP found her guilty also, handing down a disqualification penalty of five years and three months, with fines totalling $20,000 for the three charges.

Greyhound Racing South Australia chair Grantley Stevens welcomed the decision.

"We welcome the decisions and strong penalties handed down by the independent Integrity Hearings Panel," Stevens said.

"This was a clear failure to uphold the standards and integrity we expect in our sport and there is no place for such appalling behavior."

At the time of the shocking footage coming to light, the Rasmussens were enjoying a successful run with their team, led by Group 1 hero Victa Damian which had won the National Derby in Sydney only a few months earlier.

The Rasmussens have seven days to appeal the decision.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I was living in hope for closer to $3.
Scr of the kennel mate made sure that wasn't happening.
Still gonna keep an eye on it in future 700m.

Nationals at Angle Park tomorrow night.
Should be a cracking night with perfect weather forecast.

Had a gander through the fields.
Doesn't look to be much value around, but thats just guessing with no markets available.

Race 1
Hard to go past the 8 feat the dragon. First up in SA won in 30.39. That wins. $1.70
The 4 Nangar Express is a relative newcomer to SA in a boutique kennel. Has the ability. $5
5 miss Artemis $10 doesn't win out of turn but a must for exotics.
The rest are 20+

Race 2
4 riot rooster $1.60. Clear on top for mine here.
1 fiorano can punch up on fence. $8
5 xile bale $10 looks best of the remainder.

Race 3
The inside 3 should fight this out.
1 scary eyes $2.80
2 - Dakota rylen $3.30
3 Jabuk.- $5.50
Mark you're own prices the remainder
I fancy the 2 leads here with a 5.30 1st split.
The 1 sits just off it but will run past.
3 I think lobs 3rd and will finish off Hard.

Race 4 - 730m
7 crypto monelli $2.60
2 zipping whiskey $3.20
5 hit top gear $3.50

Again looks a race of limited hopes.

Race 5
Only 2 real hopes
2 adhanna Rico $1.70 - should be leading
1 amron Dan $4.50 gets the soft run and has a good record from the red.
Best of the rest
3 -$10
4 -$15
6 $15

Race 6 Distance Championship

No idea here.
1 $15 looks outclassed but knows the track
2 $8
3 $50
4 -$5
5 $30
6 $2.80 probably unders. Gets back but will be trying to weave through them
7 $3.60 looks next best on class
8 $45 gonna be tough out there early stages

Race 7
A two dog race here
1 canya Athena $2.40 turned the corner last 5 starts.
4 Dakota ava $3.20 may find the front early.
5 bun volcano $10
8 yoda lady $10

Race 8 National Sprint Final
Again no idea
1 $8
2 $500
3 $2.40
4 $500
5 $4.50
6 $500
7 $500
8 $8

Race 9
8 fantastic spike $2 best dog in race
2 emerley Zoe $3.50
6 ethanol unleaded $4.50

Race 10
Pass

Race 11
2 cabao opal $2.20
8 hovland $3.50 decent motor, just needs to avoid rectal ramming
5 ashby jazzy $5 can muster early and find a spot
7 Darcy Dakota $15 looks the leader. Will ping

Yeah Alfie went really well in front. Was great to see him get the distance. We were sort of hoping he got into the distance final as i thought neutron was a chance of scratching.

Went super from the squeeze box to get out in front and lead them all a merry dance

How about the "team scratchings" that left a 3 dog field and they still lost

The crowd looked light on?

Gunnedah r11 - 1 lidcombe babe

Newbie. Handslipped nicely last week.
Fav in 2 is $1.40. Haven't had a look at form yet but price perhaps says it all.

Should go well from the red.
