I looked at the scores of the xmas ambrose at Flaggy, one group got -15 off the stick  , they did have a +1 & +2 in their group but didnt win. Winning team had a hole in one on the 3rd.

Played front 9 yesterday arvo to get a Sevens card in for the week, GIR on 1st, 3rd & 4th for pars and had 11 points standing on the 5th tee, golf gods got me and scrubbed next 3 holes  14 points.

I didnt know they had a hole in one.
One of them is a greenkeeper. Probably put in his fav location.
Questions will be asked

Put the Cobra Driver in the bag today and still had a slice shape to it. did hit a few good drives with it

front 9 was ok. 19pts
putting was good
short game solid

back around onto the first, aimed left, goes dead straight, hits a tree and disappears somehow
2nd hole - sliced rigjht, should have found it but like first hole disappears.
3rd hole - 5w end up pin high right off the green. lovely flop shot onto the green but runs just off. then for some ^&%&^$^&*$^ i just smashed the putt, picked up in disgust and that was me done.

finished 23pts

played there in October, they were still doing some work around behind the 8th green i think at the time.

but for the most part it was fine to play.

started off on 10th, switch back over next week to the 1st tee start.

nothing really special, for the most part the Driver was good, no wild vanilla slices.
short game was ok from off the greens. continues to improve
putting - as the worst putter in the world i actually putted really well.
after 17th - i was content i had made par on 16 ( drive went out onto 17th fairway - good angle in i have since learned) and par on 17.
saw a couple lads who asked how i was going and not knowing my exact score i did tell them i was gonna win the day - touch of arrogance there

finsished that 9 - 2 over for 22pts. again i only had a rough idea. my mate knows i dont keep score but i said i think my score would have a 2 as its first number

around to the first we go. much the same, played solid golf off the tee with the Driver. around the greens was good. putting was very good for me.
made 2 unforced errors that didnt really cost me too much in the end.

79 off the stick for 41pts.

held the clubhouse lead for 90mins

On fire MT!

West Lakes friday was good fun, played with 2 single figure hcapper's, drove terribly which left me out of position and nothing really came together, first par for the day came on the15th! Course in much better shape, probably the best Ive seen the greens there, although a touch slower than Im used to. 27 points

Mt Lofty yesterday for our Brown Jacket Day and driving was a massive improvement, in fact it set me up for a strong day. Made the most of the short par 4's for 2 birdies, 34 points with 3 scrubs and took home the jacket for the 2nd time in 15 tries.

Lofty is much better this time of year, greens are good, but the rest of the course needs some work, tee blocks are poor, you can see they are trying to get it back to a good standard, Im still not a fan of the place, its good if you want some game practice of your wedges buts thats about it.

heart attack hill

i dont mind Lofty, although one time we played there a mate missed the fairway by a foot, 3 of us saw the bright fluro ball land and couldnt find it   no doubt plugged. i find it similar to Compass, if you are straight off the tee you can score very well.

31pts today
Handicap changed mid round.

Driver was good.

Inexplicably put 2 in water on 7 with trusty 7w... not ideal going into monthly medal tomorrow
Short game was ok.
Few poor putts.
Pins in tricky spots and greens rolled first time in a week or so
