If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Yeah, didnt make finals  we had a poor year and most of our team are now <26 h'cappers - when we started we had 4 guys in the 30's.

Sevens has finished up now, club trying to work out what they might replace it with as its a good money spinner and 4 of us are now members from it.

Played there 10 years ago, up there with the best courses I've played. Da Nang across the board was awesome, I bet its very different now though, was starting to turn into the Gold Coast as you drove down the coast.

Par

+3

Wiped 5th hole after a decent drive left me 125m... that was a mistake

Wiped 13th with a bogey.

81 off stick.

Happy with that.

First hit in about 6 months today. Played at Flaggy with a tee time of 1:10. Didn't finish until almost 6pm. Was slow going at times.

Stroke Saturday- Medal winners' trophy

Started off well, was only 1 over after 13, my marker then stamps my papers with 'You've got a good score going' sure enough finished 7 over nett 72.

Winner finished nett 71

Feel like I'm back flushing my irons really well, I can always tell by the divots I'm taking when hitting the ball well.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

That wouldnt surprise me. Sundays are predominantly social groups, however there are members who are slow also.

How did you go first up for 6 months?

Sprayed the driver a bit. Putting saved me on a few holes. Still shot 85, last round was at Rich River in Moama and shot 93

Yesterday. First hit for 6 weeks. Bursytis in both shoulders…. Had a cortisone in the right shoulder the previous Friday. Getting one in the left shoulder Thursday.

Didn’t have high expectations of playing well. I didn’t disappoint!

26 pts. His some decent shots at times, but threw in enough rubbish. Left 15 shots out there easy!

It was a little brisk at 8.00am when we hit off. 3 layers on, plus the beanie on! By the time we got to the 15th, cap, sunnies on, and both jumper and puffer jacket off.

Booked in for next Saturday, may even play Sunday, sure to be pumped up after watching the Masters coverage.

Even better having the following week off. Heading to Rich River (Echuca) for 3 nights. Will play Wednesday & Thursday so long as the body holds up.

Rounded out yesterday with a few refreshments at my local, and a handy day on the punt. I disgraced myself on Friday in the Spargo Good Friday at Ascot. Don’t think I even had 1 collect!
