Aldinga v Port Elliot - Top of the table clash, winner will kick away from the rest of the comp, will be atleast a game and a half clear of 2nd. Aldinga too strong imo
McLaren Districts v Mount Compass Gold - Massive game for both sides to keep in touch with the 4, Compass Gold lose this and thats just bout their season goodbye. Game could go either way, both sides rely a lot on their captains to perform, and if either connor or ifould can make a big score then that could be the difference. Compass to win in the last over of the day.
Mount Compass Maroon v Encounter Bay - Enc Bay playing some really good cricket atm and should knock Maroons off quite easily.
Willunga v Goolwa - Massive game for both sides, Willunga need to win to stay in the top 4, Goolwa need to win or their season will be just about over. Both sides coming off losses will want to start 2010 with a Win! If Goolwa play to their potential then should be a very close game, all depends which goolwa rock up to play! Of course i'll pick Willunga to win, should be a tough, close game tho!
heard that there will be a few 'regulars' missing this week for goolwa. maybe rockyb could confirm or deny.
Loftus in for McDonald and Stewart in for Ward.

word on the grape vine is that loftus is out due to toncilitis bringing the ever reliable R.Lose back in the A grade side another twist to the tail is A.Evans,V Robertson,L Bailey, and J Lawernce all having to leave early due to a city excursion! I think it will be a great chance for young gun J Ward to drop down to find some form with the bat as he is quiet a talented wk/batsmen he made 89 in the same game this time last year agianst the same team! should dominate and be back in with the big boys next week......good luck to all the lads on a warmish saturday arvo
Went out fishing today and got a heap of snapper, flathead and a 6 ft hammerhead shark and have to play cricket in 40 deg heat at willunga when i could be fishing this sucks balls,my cricket interest is just about gone ,think it is just about time to hang up the boots and fish all summer and drink beers in my boat.

A great chance for Ward to make some runs, but also a great chance for Stewart to put his keeping skills on show and make some quality A grade runs against good bowlers.
Loftus is definately out sick, Lose is the likely replacement but not 100% confirmed yet.

Yes t will be a great opportunity for Stewart with the gloves, and he's a certainty to make runs. Do not know how the redbacks haven't picked up him up yet.

misses out for the first time in a long while and all of a sudden hes no good. like a fellow poster said. there are alot of 'big names' behind him on the run table. he would be in the best XI at any club in the comp unlike alot of the muppets that post rubbish on this forum.
was good to see WIW24 back in some form yesturday with the ball. could a late cricketer of the year charge be made?

Some very interesting results from the weekend.. It seems not only top four up for grabs, but top 2 as well!
Is it too early for the call.. "NO PEEK, NO WILLUNGA"?
I'm sure the Willunga guys have obviously had a bad game... write the one off and move on.. Goolwa still alive.. RockyB still has the desire..
has the desire still gone for the game rocky b after the boys efforts on the weekend? Heard u bowled with real passion and had the batsman in all sorts.
