If you haven't seen Eddie Betts on AFL360 tonight you need to.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Exactly who we should be hearing from too, not all the middle aged white men profiting from it on their platforms

Well handled by the AFC and AFL, the only way forward out of this is for some learnings and education to continue, but geez it must be gut wrenching.
Im not convinced its been well handled by the AFL, its meant to be confidential, They have no trouble keeping drug users names private so how does this get out?
There is a lot of collateral damage from this.
We didnt heed all the details, just the pinishment and what he was punished for. Just a statement saying Walker has been suspended for racial vilification, was absolutely no need to even make North Adel or Young aware that it stemmed from them. No need to tell anyone he was dobbed in by an Adel official, These people dont need the scrutiny
So what I have heard is that the AFC Staffer heard it and is still really close to Eddie Betts and he contacted Eddie and told him what was said. Eddie rang the club and told them what was said. The Crows spoke to Walker and as nothing was done Eddie leaked it to the media
Someone reads bigfooty
Never been on it!!!

My tuppence worth

I cant see Walker playing AFL again, that stuff when out when with Barbie girl in the charts and St Kilda's Everitt allegedly calling Scotty Chisolm a "petrol sniffer" (All AFL listed players were required to undertake "training" following that event.

Not too mention when we have high profile examples in Adelaide showdowns (bananas anyone)

Seriously how much education and reading the tea leaves of where we are as Australians now or more precisely where we want to be

My frustration is that a non-Victorian is in the cross hairs and gets rightly punished and held to account and whereas a prominent media type connects Adam Goodes to being an ape and look! A squirrel.

Walkers been a good AFL player over 14 years, this will be a lasting stain on his career that he'll have to bare.

IMO
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The noises Adelaide are making suggest he's going to struggle to be welcomed back into the club.

Think this may be the case. Hearing reliable stories from inside the club that this was not a "once off", and he often made comments that were inappropriate.

The last one involved the gay community and people were really taken aback by his comments. Think he is very old school (bit simple) and just not up with the times that you cant say this sort of stuff anymore.

With the talk from Silvers and Nicks about changing the culture, this does not look good for his future. If this happened last year when his form was embarrassing there would be no question about it, but because he re discovered his old form this season it has become a bit harder to get rid of him.

Crows are years away from being a force on field and Tex will not be a part of this, so better to just sever ties now and start fresh in my opinion.

I find that slightly hard to believe and if anything paints the Crows in a really bad light.

Would speak volumes if the Crows knew of this behaviour yet made him the captain of the football club. Surely they wouldn't have done that.

Not going to name the player, just said he has made several crude comments re the LGBT Community that were very inappropriate. The point was this was not totally out of character and has form around the Club in this area. End of story.

Also made comments about members of the female footy team.

That's exactly right. He is a country lad, grew up in Broken Hill, would have had lots of aboriginal people living there and back growing up those sort of comments were very, very common. We have all moved on from that and realise how hurtful they are.
