Deducting points...?
In other matters whats happening with North Clare, retianed aplyers, steady influx of quality new lads and a new coach yet not cutting the mustard? I was under the impression south were going to be the strugglers?

Who were the players?
Josh Heath and Alan May. BBH inadvertently relied on obtaining match day permits which is a big no no.
People who bought this book also bought a stool and some rope. Unknown literary critic

What's wrong with match day permits? Do you mean these players caused bbh to play a game with the player point system being over the limit?

Nothing to do with player points. Interstate players need a clearance which includes approval from both clubs. Permits are meant to cater for teams who are short on match day and borrow a player from the opposition to make up the numbers etc.

Always thought permits could be used for anybody before end of July, certainly seen them used not just for player shortage!

Mate the rules are very specific. BBH erred and it cost them $2500. End of story

I'm not having ago at the rules, and I'm not sticking up for bbh, I was just courious.
I have played under permits over ten times, and know of others, the leagues obviously didn't care as I'm a shit player

Yeah but did you play under a permit in Mildura or Kalgoorlie or just for another team in the same league as your home club?

Nope between two different leagues and also from amauters to country leagues, was 5-6 years back, but have seen players use them since also
