Grand final last year, haven’t lost anyone of note & gained 3 to 4 quality players.
so have they gained Freddie Aguis ??

Went and watched Willaston train on Wednesday night and had enough players to have internal trial. Not sure about other posts saying no players at training.
Recruits in Pepe, Gordon and McDonald looked very impresive and give them massive height all over the ground.
Full back they have signed is 6'4" tall also and will allow Taylor to play as a on-baller with Baker, Walton, McDonald, Campbell and C McLean.
Tanunda still deserved favourites but Willaston and Barossa not far behind this year and we should have some great games between these 3 teams during 2012.The rest all the same as Stewie has stated although Kapunda, Nuriootpa and Freeling the next tier followed by South, Angaston and Centrals.

Well the silly season has nearly finished and most sides have by now recruited the players they wanted.
Like normal Willaston seem to be the only club doing anything according to this site.
My mail is that the recruits will be very very handy for the donnybrooks however it's left a very sour taste in the mouth's of some " Loyal Locals" or should i say " Loyal Vocal's"!
I think you will find if Willaston have already cancelled there first trial against Seaton Ramblers it clearly shows they are behind the 8 ball with numbers on the track.
You would be an absolutely fool to have anyone bar Tanunda as flag fav's and they would need to lose 4-5 quality players for anyone to get close.
Let's all hope like hell some teams improve from previous years or once again 2012 will be a very boring and predictable outcome with Tanunda winning in a canter!

I bow to your superior intelligence "Ruck Guru" it was Thursday I went and watched Willaston train.
My humble apologies and reason no trial game was other sports and a wedding.

Gonna go with a complete ladder then, rag on it all you will but I am basing it on clearances in and out of the league and a genuinely concerning silence from South, which means they must be ok now. The proof will be in the end of year results.
1. Barossa
2.Tanunda
3. Willaston
4. South Gawler
5. Nuriootpa
6. Kapunda
7. Angaston
8. Freeling
9. Centrals

Where is Freelings improvement coming from? Would think they go slightly backwards on last year.

reckon your right there stewie, loss of mensforth and the eichner brothers a big loss. but i wont count them out just yet, tylor a good coach and greenwood given freedom to do what he does best might be a formula to unsettle a few sides this year.

if money is the only object then the donnies dont need him. should play with love for the club not for what they feed you. thats why you shouldnt pay players big straight up, when the money dries up, they go with it

Think you might find that if you could canvas most clubs that lure outsiders, the common denominator is the same - $$$$$$'s

Heard on the week-end the great Dogga Woodards has kissed and made up with coach Hadden and is returning to Pantherland?
Days or Stewie any truth in this?

Have just had a look at the clearance and noticed a number of players that appear to be underage going to South from North Metro league.
Surely with all the players they have at underage level the club would say we are playing our locals first or say we have enough already.
They only play colts and then go back to clubs in the SAAFL and good young locals miss out and give the game away.

There is no animosity between Dogga and Hadds, as would be highlighted by Dogga's brother
Returning to Ango this year to rejoin the group.
Think Dogga is staying at Southern Flinders, which is a shame
Angaston would be a far more handsome team with him in it.
