No

In other news Simon Katich announced his retirement from T20 cricket on the weekend and won't play for the Perth Scorchers in the Champions League T20.

Awesome news locking in Pollard for 3 years.

Pollard is the Strikers fifth new signing for BBL|04, behind Australia’s most prolific T20 batsman Brad Hodge; dual century maker from last season Craig Simmons; and the competition’s all-time leading wicket taker, Ben Laughlin.

Confirmed departures from the Strikers so far are Callum Ferguson (Renegades), Michael Klinger (Scorchers) and Alex Hales (Hurricanes).

Adelaide Strikers squad so far: Jono Dean, Travis Head, Brad Hodge, Phil Hughes, Trent Lawford, Ben Laughlin, Tim Ludeman, Michael Neser, Kieron Pollard, Gary Putland, Kane Richardson, Chadd Sayers, Craig Simmons, Shaun Tait, Adam Zampa.

Simmons has made consecutive ducks in the fifty50 format.

Hope he fires
