I get it. They knew JHF wasn't coming back so took the chance to get 2 of the top 3 this year instead of 1 and add our 1st next year. I don't think it's the loser of the deal.
In fact is anyone? GWS get their man, WCE turn 2 and Rioli into 8 and 12. Basically didn't have Rioli, so 2 becomes 8 and 12. There's something for everyone.

Thanks for the best wishes, but Port need all the luck because, bloody hell, I'm 48 and fat with 2 reconstructed knees...Dutchy wrote:Good luck to Jase, while I can't wish his team the ultimate success, I will continue to follow his career closely and hope that it is a long and fruitful one.
On the surface we seem to have done very well, presuming we didnt want Cadman we now get the 2 best mids available for JHF and Port's 1st rounder next year plus some backend picks to get Boomer's lad in.
Also well done to the AFC, to get Rankine on a 3 year deal and not have to go 5+ years is a real win.
Port must be desperate...

Anyone know what time the "mega trade" was official? I really hope it was after trade radio went off air

Re: 2022 AFL offseason - trades - draft
I see Port have 2 draft picks left and Richmond only have 1 - how does that work when I thought there was a requirement to draft a minimum of 3 kids every year?
