Agree again, the only bowler that comes to my mind that I've seen do that sort of thing is Keiron Pollard, I remember him bowling level with the umpire. I'm not sure if others have done it?whufc wrote:On that note it surprises me we dont see bowlers more often try and bowl with only half a foot or one foot back from the line occasionally. Weve seen blokes bowl from as far back as the umpire but the more subtle variation would almost act as the perfect slower ball without having to change action or grip.

24 and 24 overs in teh first two sessions
Yes there's been some reviews but they are effectively -12 for the day so far.
Not good enough

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

See what happens but potentially fines and loss of points coming the Aussies way.

Re: Australian International Summer 2023/24
x3. We have some very unimaginative test cricketers it would seem when it comes to trying for variation.mighty_tiger_79 wrote:Yep, I've said that before.whufc wrote:On that note it surprises me we dont see bowlers more often try and bowl with only half a foot or one foot back from the line occasionally. Even more variation at the crease, if normally get in over the umpire just go a fraction wider and change up the angles

The slow over rate is even more frustrating when you consider there is rain on the way,

You could put every fielder at mid wicket and Pakistan would still try and hit it there

This Australian bowling quartet now has the most wickets whilst playing and bowling together in test cricket overtaking Anderson, Broad, Ali and Stokes.
