Originally from Gawler Centrals. Went back there last year after a couple of years at Riverton. More effective in NEFL where less big backmen than BLG and quicker- wasn't a success this year so another try at6 Riverton??

So he'd be a three pointer at RSMU?

Mick McCarthy building a useful team at Riverton - Luke Mensforth, former BLG association rep and Freeling player, a big in for 2013. Add him to Billy Nicholls and other quality players they have, and they might have a flag?

Jeremy Sargent is a big pick up by BSR. I think Southern Flinders will really miss the little bloke

Southern Saints having an internal trial Wednesday 27th March. Rumour is it will see the return of past association rep. Ben Pfeiffer. What are other clubs' trial plans?

Balaklava played RSMU in a trial last night. Looked like they had pretty strong numbers in SC, Ressies and A grade, which is a great sign.

I reckon the Hawks got up in the As by about two goals.

The Peckers were fairly inaccurate when kicking for goal but RSMU played the better footy IMO.

Transitioned the ball out of defence beautifully and really worked hard at using the corridor going into attack.

Sometimes they over-used the footy and missed pin-point passes but that will happen in a trial.

Was impressed with what I saw.

I did not. Had one shot from 50m but it didn't come back enough. Ack!

it was a good hitout. impressed with the standard for a tuesday night trial.

kids from both sides impressed which is what trials are all about. balak seem to have a good mix of talls and quick young lads. we were missing our 2 key fowards in vandy and menzy and also our number 1 ruckman. but im sure balak were in the same situation, no one is ever full strength in a trial. we got through injury free and will be better off for the hitout.

It will be the same top 4 as the previous 5 years. But I reckon the top 4 teams will be very tight. Daylight between 4th and 5th position

Billy nicholls was BOG for us but unfortunately luke mensforth has done his knee. Pretty bad, taken by ambulance. pretty much torn every ligament in the knee and has a 2cm break at the base of the femur.
