Yes i do know Horry and he is an outstanding ruckman and could play at ahigher level easily, still on very young and needs to fill out more but that will happen, do you agree Doug.

THE standout ruckman in Country Div according to all reports - excellent in the air AND on the ground, strong and courageous - too bad you don't know him, Horry.....I mean Doug

Jarred Poulton to Kersbrook! News to me. Isn't he playing in the Yorke Peninsula League? And if he played locally, wouldn't his connections be with Port Districts? Not sure how good a mate he is with Roger from his Power days (Francou is still signed with us!), and not sure if he knows Carslake. As for our Midfield, the only addition this season is Brett's mate Carslake. Otherwise it's still the same as last season i.e. Brett, Apples, Brads, Chopper. Believe all you want, but KP still isn't a Millionaire, and with No Oval to play on, this season will hurt us financially. I think getting the Oval up is the Club's Number 1 Priority, cos at the moment it's an embarrassment.

Poulton is playing for CMS Crows on YP, where Carslake played last year, and Troy Clements has been their coach this year and last year.

Ah, is that where Tex got his logic from. We recruited Carslake from CMS Crows this season and next year we'll obviously pick up Poulten  Don't think CMS Crows have to worry too much about losing Poulten to Kersbrook.

mayb able 2 play at a higher level but yes like u say needs 2 fill out more, hes very lanky. it would be good to c him go sumwhere, mayb out of his cousins spotlight? as for meadows ther strong juniors continue to come through the ranks tho, 4 senoir colts in the a grade at the moment i beleive.
haha alice r u sayin im brady? cos i can assure u im not. i do know him since im from meadows and my son plays in the b's ther, but i dont know him very wel, hence the hardly.

I actually heard it from someone close to the coach, it is 2nd or 3rd hand though, handy if true but

We'd still be bottom of the league when it comes to handing out the $$$. Just been VERY lucky to have a Home Grown Coach who is an ex AFL Premiership player who is loyal to Kersbrook and has plenty of contacts. Not sure if Poulten is one of his contacts Tex, KP doesn't seem to think so. Would be very handy though. I just keep ribbing Roger, when is Francou gonna don the Double Blue. :D

GREG DUNNING is by far the best ruck in country division

everyone on this forum thought you were on another planet raz but now we know you are!!!!!!
There would be four ruckmen ahead of Dunning in Country Div including your own new fella Gransbury, add him to Dawe,Fox,Cranna and your comment is flawed. He takes very few marks around the ground and his workrate is very poor.He doesn't even win the greater percentage of centre ruck contests. Comeon Raz you got to give us something better than that.

Roge and Beefy wouldn't be too far away from hanging them up, but Brad Pearce (23), Nath Pearce (27) and Paul James (26) have a few more years in them yet. The Club is working Hard at getting it's juniors up and going, as that's what has kept us around the mark for a lengthy time. As mentioned before, missing the finals twice in 15 years is a fair record, and the last time we around the bottom (Like Maccy) was when the HFL was one Division, back around 1984.

coug's wasn't meaning dropping to the bottom of the ladder, but when club stalwarts that have kept the club going for a number of years take a more low key profile, are there local FOOTY PEOPLE who will step in to fill the breach

Would like to think so.....we have also have the added advantage over the Northern Hills Clubs, in that we are the closest to heavily populated metro areas Tea Tree Gully and Salisbury. TTG area has been a big feeder to our Club for more than 2 decades now. The most important thing for the KFC right now, is getting their juniors up and running.

Nairne's last flag?!?!? Think they won one in Div 2 in the 80s??

Kersbrook is a helluva lot closer to TTG and Salisbury than Lobey.
