Any truth that 2 TV players and their partners will be going to this years AFL GF, (with accommodation) at the expense of 'You Know Who', just cause they made the Finals?!?!?! Imagine what they'll get now!!

Surely Lobey will make a big play for their past player to coach them.

Cougar - that's EXACTLY what I heard as well.
A mate was at the GF and a couple of his friends play for TV and he was told that.

i have it on good authority that there is 0, nil, nulla chance that Hughes will be coaching at Lobey next year...but hey, i've been proved wrong before!

Coco has been in discussion with Judd's people for months. We've apparently done a deal where he only has to play the quarters when we're going downhill to protect his groin.

His Mrs has been offered a media role as offical judge of Mr Mt Lofty from 2008 onwards.

Oh, and Sir Judd likes the red and white Mt Lofty colours.

Go you Devils!

Judd's worth 5pts under the new system....

Also have heard that Bartel's brother (Who plays For Goodwood and is a Gun) will not be able to resist the temptations next year and will be where 'That Man' is. They have tried to get him for a couple of years now, and he is a better footballer than Carter.

Also JQ, some Plasma's were handed out last time they won the GF, and don't know if that was the case this year?? And a leading player at TV is moving house and will have some Home improvements done very, very generously.

Nah not him. Didn't even make their GF team. He spent all his $$$ early in the year on Maccas and couldn't make it back.

You're probably right FM but by the second half of the year he seemed disinterested and did little against us and we're one of the bottom sides. From what I can tell, I doubt he would have played the last 6 or 7 weeks of the season.

As far as players getting GF packages, it may not have cost as much as you might think though because given that the generous one is a fairly large customer of a few mobs around the place, he's probably getting the corporate packages for little or nothing at all.

He got himself injured during the year and was playing poorly, so I don't think there was any chance they were gonna rush him back in for the Finals.

Hadn't heard that, but I'm not surprised.
Ain't nuthin a points system will be able to do about that...nor a salary cap either, I guess.

all the talk about blackwood stacking their central b grade is a bit weak i reckon you blokes play against their 3rd side and by the sound of it the players that have come into the side are from the country a grade which is blackwoods 2nd side so all you are doing is playing their actual b grade side so it shouldnt matter that much. Different story if the likes of gigney and co were dropped back. Either way i hope lofty knock em off and stick it up the caravan man.
Hey trunky you would know more about what players were dropped back into the b grade team any names you can think of?

#14 killed us... played of the wing/half foward flank and kicked a few handy goals

I feel sorry for the regular central b graders who will miss playing a GF now for the country boys... Not sure how it will work next year, where are all these blackwood B graders going to play? Doubt they would be happy playing C's

Yeah i agree with you banker it is a bit harsh on the lads that have been in the team all year but thats footy i guess. As for next year i dont know what they are going to do with the surplus of players that will miss out on a game of footy. 4 sides dont go into 2 all that well but i dont think benson gives a toss about the club as a whole only the A grade and definately not the junior sides. Yes Rooster, we'd still thrash u blokes. :D He's signed for next year. With a couple of retirements we will need to pick up a few to be competitive in Country Div.
