Followed the Knicks growing up and didn't really have a baseball team. Already followed the Redskins and Capitals but Washington didn't have a baseball team at the time (early 90's) so jumped on the Yankees as they were one of the few sides that got any coverage over here at that time

I wonder how people picked their US teams,
I picked Milwaukee Brewers as I was a fan of Happy Days back in the 80s, then I read about great players like Paul Molitor, Robin Yount, Hank Aaron and also I liked Bob Uecker from Mr Belvedere.
Also one of the most interesting things about Milwaukee is that it's the only American city to elect three Socialist mayors.

You must be about 40 then, hounds?
I too, because of Jordan, became a Bulls fan and adopted Chicago as my teams. The White Sox colours did appeal to me more...![]()

Lost to the Royals 4-1,2-1 and won 3-2
Beat the Indians 7-6 then lost 5-1,6-2,4-3.
Then the Royals again 7-5,8-7,5-4 to lose 6 on the tro and drop to 3rd in American Central.
The Indians and the Royals leaping over us.
