I hear Kylie Parks slapped 125 of 60 odd balls Saturday. Most talented player in the comp?

When you say comp do you mean B3 or the entire Turf comp?
In either case I'd answer no.

I hope next week can be as fruitful!

We had a guy score 200 in a 40 over match. oh and the 6 off the last ball victory was also good the week before. Big game in the LOE is all the talk in Mawson Lakes. 1st vs 2nd at Rostrevor. Also in C2 ML v PAOC in Mawson Lakes 2nd v 3rd. It's all happening.
Please, tell me more about really low level grades of cricket. My days wouldn't be the same without it. Why sledge in a forum, when u can ledge on the weekend.
Disrepectful Wanker !!
Haha want more sledging in this forum, I type one thing, and the thinned skinned heros pipe up. Don't ask for sledging if u can't handle it, u front running tossers.

lol I think that's the worst comment I have ever heard you must be on smack. a guy playing b 3 or whatever the f... use play most talented player in the comp extremely disrespectful to all the extremely talented and skilled players in premier grade grade 2 and grade 3 and the other guns through the lower grades Jamie Jarrett has done that twice this year 100 off 40 odd balls in grade 2 let alone all the great efforts by players in premier grade. my advice to you is to stay away from the kdf club cause whatever your smoking is messing with you brain.

Agree Parkes is a very average cricketer who will occasionally have a good day in the lower grades.

Was way out of his depth in div2 PDCA apart from the occasionally slapped 30 odd. Much better you cricketers getting around.

We had a LBW turned down on the weekend, umpire said it was smashing into off middle, but it pitched outside off stump so it couldn't be out regardless of whether it would have been hitting or not. No wonder people get reported when they dribble shit like that...how do these guys keep getting umpiring gigs??

Agreed there are some average umpires getting around.
A lot of the problems aren't corrected as teams/captains don't provide appropriate feedback on the umpires report card in mycricket.

Often you hear stories of clubs just putting down 2,2,2,2,2,2,2 all the way cause they weren't happy with an umpire. Or all 5s thinking sucking up will get them favorable decisions in the future. This provides no feedback for the umpires association to use to improve the umpires we get stuck with each round.

It is far more effective if you take the 30 seconds to put an appropriate number in each slot. If the umpire struggles with LBW, then give him a 2 for that and 4s elsewhere. The comment section is important and make sure what you enter is constructive. IE: Umpire didn't know the LBW law (said it was not out cause it pitched outside off), rather than umpire didn't give us any LBWs but gave 3 of our guys out.

It is also just as important to report it when you get a favourable decision, as these can be trusted more as they don't have any bias in your side of the story!

Very valid point there, it's not to be on the good end of a howler but I'd prefer the right decisions getting made for both sides.

Problem is if you take the time to fill these out correctly more often than not nothing is done about the poor decisions.

Does someone even look at them each week???

I did say this to my captain after the game. That same umpire gave 5 Lbw's not out that left our opening bowler scratching his head, and it wasn't until our captain asked why the last one wasn't out that he gave that rubbish excuse.. but then the last wicket of the day, I got an LBW when i half shouted for one that was probably sliding down leg by about 10cm.. he gave it out, and I wouldn't be surprised if he gave it for the sake of saying that he gave one out if questioned about it later.

I hope so, cause they are quick to hand out fines to anyone that misses putting them in on time.

They cant do too much with them, there are some horrible umpires that rock up week after week and somehow still get a gig.

Who I support has just as much relevance as the car I drive (it's a Ferrari by the way). I don't ask you personal questions on a public forum, so I would appreciate the same respect shown to me.

So correct me if I'm wrong, Three Mods having a go at one forumite is "friendly banter", yet three non mods do the same and it's "trolling"?? I respect that you guys don't get paid to do this, but also no one forces you to do it so you must enjoy it. I would just hope that the power muscle doesn't get flexed as often, because this forum is at it's best when there are a few people niggling.

I am not a huge fan of the hashtags but why can't they be on here?? Some of them have actually been quite funny.

Anyone know what the current score is between Goodwood and Grange in A4?
I couldn't find it in the paper on Sunday, but based on the way I'm batting at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me if I'm going blind.
