By all reports our lads had a good hitout v Salisbury last Saturday and we took a lot out of it. Thanks Salisbury for hosting us. Our guys are looking forward to taking on Golden Grove who by all reports go alright in this comp, we should have a pretty competitive outfit on the park.

Looking forward to getting out there and playing round 1!! We had quite a few players out on saturday and most of us were playing in our first trial. Hopefully the numbers will be ok this week. Pretty sure we will be a tad rusty but still hopefully competetive.

The amount of Ds that played in the Cs Trial was amazing, never before has some many of them had a game under their belt before Round 1.

From what I saw from the Mawson Lakes vs Salisbury D grade trial, plenty of blokes already had plenty under their belts.... Some big boys plodding around out there !!
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I know nothing about this div but will give the tips a shot

Mitcham v Flinders
Broadview v Smosh
Paoc v Gepps
Golden Grove v Mawson Lakes - Looking at our potential side for this week I think we'll do alright against last seasons pacesetters :)

Maybe you can give me a few tips on how to "play" in the backlines, considering you did so well at it yourself :P

Flinders park to knock off mitcham 10+ goals
Smosh to start there defence beating Broadview 8 goals
Paoc to beat gepps cross 15 goals. maybe a pace setter this year
Golden grove to smash mawson lakes. The burras have to much pre finals form

and salisbury to have a win against the bye
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

How many goals are you blokes going to win by tomorrow?

Will you win all your games and choke in the big one again?

Didnt say we were going to win tommorow, hopeful to but didnt say we will. I didnt play in this grade last year but from memory our D grade didnt make it to the big one? also lost a game to SMOSH during the season too so didnt win all thier games. Got anything to say about this current season there jugs or just happy to reflect on last year??
