Turbo is right. We've had a better pre season than last year and we've got a much easier draw this season, however we still haven't recruited anyone to kick goals.

We could be the worst possessions-for-score ratio in the comp.

Kruezer will need to play forward for us to kick goals BUT we still don't have any ruckman. Wood and that 7ft goose Warnock are hopeless up forward.

So for all the easy draw, better pre season talk, I still think we'll finish up about 13th. And I hope one prediction is right, Malthouse gets the flick.

So if Kreuzer ( god forbid we get him on the park) plays forward, why do we need a ruckman up there? Casboult should be ready to hold down a key forward position this year, so when Kreuzer pinch hits in the ruck I don't reckon we need a resting big man in a forward pocket.
I don't think we're going to be a bottom six team this year. I'm not holding my breath for finals, but we won't be as far away as many seem to think.

I'm interested to know what our forward line looks like in your opinion. Not taking the pi$$, just asking a legit question.

IMO Jones hasn't necessarily made it. So my forward line looks something like this (with everyone fit for selection);

F: Thomas Casboult Watson/Henderson
HF: White/Yarran Kruezer Menzel

My issue still is that Wood and Warnock aren't a ruckman's ar#ehole. So if you want our best result, you need Kruezer in the middle which means White, Watson or Cas play CHF. Henderson I think needs to play forward but I fear our lack of depth in defence will mean he plays back.

I agree with you in one respect, if Jones comes in, Cas could go to CHF.

Thomas better bloody do something this year, FFS.

Casibolt showed he can clunk them but finishing was his issue. I think he can hold his own down there and at least provide a target. Henderson is the other one that you need down there as well. I think Watson is a defender at best.

As you said you need Kruzer to first get om the field and then be the no.1 ruck.

Not sure where or how Jones will fit in.
Thomas in my opinion should really be up the ground.

I think we need Kreuzer in ruck, I'm with you there. I was only going along with your suggestion that he needs to play forward.
Watson isn't in our best, and we'll struggle if he is.
I don't mind Thomas up forward, maybe rotating with a resting mid when they spell in a pocket.
Thomas, Casboult, Yarran
Menzel, Henderson, Walker
Walker turns it over far too much to play down back, I like him in the attacking half.
Yarran may be wasted in a forward pocket, but I can't think of another small and quick goal kicker to have there. Ellard maybe?
And yeah, Thomas needs to earn his money this year. And stay on the park.

With a big lottery with the winner getting an opportunity to conjugate the verb.

Perhaps he could be a top up player at Essendon?
