Yeah he should of found out the exact facts first as to what what said.
I do believe his first statement though as there are some umpires that make legitimate mistakes and there are a couple who are blatant cheats. How Nicholls still gets a gig baffles me, his childish crack at Max Gawn during the game was pathetic and yesterday he reported Jamar for calling him a "old ****"[emoji1]

AFL can't allow this to be as simple as "moving on". Needs to be a penalty and I think the suspended ban is the right call here. AFL coaches just can't go around calling umpires cheats and then let them apologise and get nothing. Imagine how angry Scott would be if someone accused him of throwing a game. Heck, I remember him being filthy when the media asked him whether he would have mixed feeling playing against Brisbane.

Handled beautifully by the club. I suggest the AFL Dock the Hawks the 16 illegally obtained premiership points they've been gifted and they should be stripped of the 2012 and 2014 premierships as well after the two Prelims they were likewise gifted. A hazzah for the Roos!
