Yep, agree. They won their triple Premierships by adding players from other clubs like Brian Lake and Burgoyne, McEvoy, etc. but they had a gun team around them and it just complimented the team. Now they are adding overpaid average players to an average team and by not going to the draft will be mid range team for next 5-6 years at least.

Since the restart, Hawks have been belted by Geelong, fell in against Nth Melb who are struggling, beat Richmond who look ordinary, beaten convincingly by GWS and beaten convincingly by Collingwood. They used to mix their form but still be competitive against the contenders.
