We've had a hefty turnover of players from the team that played in the Elimination Final compared to what we will put out on the park for round 1. So while outsiders are predicting top 2, we will be content to make the top 5 at this stage of the season!![/quote]

I reckon iggies the side to beat as long as they have a good run with injuries, we have lost our entire backline if they can gel quickly we will def be in the 5 but only time will tell only 1 out of 6 still down there and thats the back pocket.

How good of condition is Brodie Atkinson in these days ? He has been struggling with injuries for a few years.

No truth to that rumour either. Was thinking of having a kick last Sunday but only help out as there was lack of numbers for the magoos.

I played on Benchy for a while in last years trial, great bloke and still a good player. And made me feel young and spritely !

i was there watching from the stand. phos by 10 points first 3 qtrs, then by about 12 goals after that.

Yes something like that I kept having to text the scores to Minners and all those scores sound familiar. Point is there will be no way of getting a line through last week to this week as we have a completely different side this week. We even started last week with some blokes that have normally played C's and had some late arrival A graders that played 2nd half. Then this week we get some back and lose some others.

Phew - hot out there today Talking to the 'Weed' today on a building site. He was doing a quote on a Roof. He rreckons that the Lakers were a good side but not as fantastic as I thought we would be. Turned me around in my thinking. Maybe only 3rd or 4th now. Changed to Para Hills, Portland, PAOC, Lakers, with Seaton, Iggies and Mitcham to battle it out with the Lakers in elim final
