From memory we haven't had too many wet Saturday's this year (or last) which potentially makes the drop even more concerning.
Was only thinking today SANFL should be taking advantage of no AFL this weekend and promoting the hell out of Sunday at AO, 2 for 1 tix, activations, members get in free, engage some influencers etc etc

Sounds like too much hard work.

Fair choke by North Ressies. Panthers kicked 7.0 in the last including the last 6 goals of the game after North got out to a 31 point lead

Yeah, a great opportunity to front up against the Tigers next week fast evaporated after breaking the game wide open in the third quarter and looking okay early in the last.
Mothballs for the Eagles in the Bs.
Good to see the underage in their "Elimination and Qualifying finals", or so SNAFL Now would have us believe.
Well done to the 'Dogs' U16s, into the Grand Final.

Has there been a problem with North's fitness this year. In 4 of the last 5 league games North were in a winning position. They led Port by 19 points at half time before being absolutely run over, They led Glenelg until the final two minutes, led Norwood by 2 goals at three quarter time before losing by 13 points and led the Eagles by 16 points at three quarter time and failed to score a goal in the last quarter whilst the Eagles scored three goals.
Now the Reserves concede 6 goals in 15 minutes to lose a game they seemingly had won.

They dropped one training session on the Monday during the year and it's showing.

Anyone got any info on the Triple M rumour this morning?
Apparently a former Crows player is in line to step into a coaching role at an SANFL club.
Obvious vacancy at WAFC and the worst kept secret of Paul Thomas to be at Alberton next season...

Thought the rumour was Nathan Bassett. he was at the footy yesterday watching too.
Not sure why he would want to do it, the club has no money, no facilities, can't get recruits. Good get by the club if they can get him though.

According to rumours, Surjan, Thoman, Mattner and Reeves are all, or some, going to Port as assistants.
Also Bassett was going to replace Rawlings after he left Norwood.
So who knows?

… we’ll find out in due course.

All the reasons why they would want him...they being the SANFL who are paying for everything right now. If true, could be a good sign the league is actually going to try and save us rather let us keep dying a slow death.

I have had this theory for a long time, which has not been subjected to any rational scrutiny, until now! Anyway, the dedj theory (DT) is that the MM winner usually comes from one of the 2 teams due to play in the upcoming 1st semi final.
I scientifically tested the DT by running a ChatGPT query
The results show that the DT would have correctly predicted 8 of the MM winner’s teams from the last 50 years

I will die on this hill.

You would expect him to win easily, maybe by 8 votes.
Only danger would be Jarryd Lyons. Go Kobe Mutch for 3rd.

Certainly will look strange if Liddy is our leading vote getter.

Across two teams he might be top 10…

What are you all of a sudden doing in an SANFL thread?

Congrats Blake Hansen , Reserves Magarey Medalist.
Incredible he hasn't rec'd more league opportunities, Im guessing he wont be at the Eagles next year.
