Cracker wrote:Can anyone from Seaton tell me why Marshall didnt play on the weekend have heard from a good source that he has a bad groin and will need to prove himself to the coaches to even be considered this week.
Marshall has been known to give his groin a fair workout at times, so could be true.

He has a fractured jaw, and he will play!!
Fractured jaw !!! Where did that come from !!! I spoke to Marshy last night, does have a sore groin so needs to prove himself this week. He played a GF once with a torn hamstring, so i wouldn't think a slight groin strain would keep him out.
saw marshy walking around on the weekend he looked like he was limping could be truth to the rumour he may have an injured groin would think he would need to prove his fitness this week

would think that steedy would also need to prove his fitness was at the districts game 2 weeks ago he looked like he tore a hammy a jab here maybe also needed
With a few transfers from seaton to district's over the summer, and a bit of bad blood between the two clubs, i doubt that steed and marshall will be only ones getting jabs. Only difference is who will be throwing the jabs..
I hope u are standing right in the middle of the track when the KARMA train comes.................and it is coming, its time!

Are Seaton goin to wear their premiership T-Shirts to the oval again?
I wouldnt think that Seaton would go in with any cockiness at all, in fact the pressure is all on Pt Dist, IMO. Top of the ladder all year, high expectations of a flag. If anyone could be over confident, it would be surely be them.

There has only been more or less a goal between the two teams all year, so being on top doesn't count for an awful lot. Both teams have their claims for a premiership and the game, will no doubt be another cracker. They say "Pressure Builds Diamonds", just a question of who handles it better.

With no other club within miles playing, no SANFL or AFL to compete with, the first A grade grand final between the 2 clubs (post merger between semaphore and exeter) would a crowd of 3500+ be expected this weekend?

would expect a massive crowd pressure is on both sides but can districts cope with the added pressure of being the no. 1 team all year, i have info from a very good source that say's Marshy is definately carrying a groin injury

Heard north haven are still seething about campaign choosing seaton over the magpies.. Not sure they could match the ouzo promised by seaton
