Hey Q,

How did the trial go?

Pretty happy with the day. Was a full dress rehearsal for round one with a mostly full strength team. Still a couple of things to iron out, but our work rate and pressure was fantastic and must be like that when it counts for points.

Who got up in the end?

Sounded like a good close game. Wouldve been good to get down there and watch. Ive played in a few close games with Mawson Lakes against Houghton. Ive always enjoyed playing at your ground. Awesome atmosphere. Especially the old blokes on the hill. Some games went our way and some went yours.

I've always like Houghton but mainly for the surprise of which species of wildlife/farm animal will hold up the game in any given week

We are going along ok. Got good numbers at the moment. Yes mate matty is still down the club assistant coach this year.

We are going along ok. Got good numbers at the moment. Yes mate matty is still down the club assistant coach this year.[/quote]

Playing or just coaching? He was a gun player back in the day. The bloke just kept on playing and playing good footy too.

Nah hasn't played for a couple of years. His body said that's it and the doctor agreed. He is still the heart beat of the club though.
