42 not out off 31balls?
I'd be more inclined to look at Kohli and Sharma's innings'.
66 (76) & 102 (109) respectively, if you're chasing almost 7 rpo and you've faced 60+ balls, you should be striking at a run a ball given the fact that "you're in".
Them two alone soaked up 185 balls for 168 runs, that leaves another 170 runs to get from only 115 balls, chuck in Rahul's 9 ball duck and it makes it a lot harder.
Says to me there are some off field issues and not much harmony between Indian players, Kohli/Sharma obviously tried to protect wickets so they could go hard late, they did this but then they gave up the chase??? If the Paki's did this all sorts of accusations would be thrown

Its funny if you look at stats stokes isnt that good but hes the guy that always steps up when we are down. Hes the one guy on our team that thrives off the pressure, where as he can be bloody ordinary when the stakes aren't that high in a standard one day series.

He is one of my favourite cricketers, one of the most if not the most dynamic player in the world. He can do it all, always contributes with either bat, ball or in the field and would slide straight into any other international team. Always up for the fight and takes the game and opposition on.

One of the best cricketers ever produced by New Zealand

The Windies are a shambles. I read that Kholi had a whinge about the short boundary when they played England. Believes it was a big disadvantage to his spinners .... seriously! Same for both sides. England exploited the short boundary hitting 13 sixes, while India hit one, in the 48th over. India are like a number of other contenders, including Australia ..... being held together by 4 or 5 players. The team that gets it right on the day will prevail. Expecting Aussies to play Kiwis and India v England in semis

Thats an understatement, there bowlers last night were horrid, lots of finger pointing and words exchanged between bowlers and fielders, to be honest never seen anything like it on a cricket field to that extent. And to take 10 to 12 minutes to bowl an over is ridiculous.
at least a couple of their batsman had a red hot go but they still fell short

That’s because they are a bunch of Selfish T20 cricketers who have little to no understanding of team.
I rate this World Cup more than any other as the gap between the top and bottom sides is not as great as previous years.
10 countries is ideal, could probably stretch it out to 12 if Ireland can be competitive and if Zimbabwe ever make it back into a decent cricket playing nation, having the likes of UAE, Scotland and Bermuda are good for exposure but drag the competition out and makes jokes out of records etc.

was dropped early in his innings, pretty simple catch, didnt think he batted all that well in patches last night but still churned out 100
