What did you have to pay? We had to pay $6 per person, but it seems the Swans members only had to pay $3.95 per person.Booney wrote:GF Ballot done. Now for Friday night.

Adelaide to Sydney Qantas flight cancelled before Power preliminary final | The Advertiser
A Qantas flight from Adelaide to Sydney has been cancelled this morning ahead of Port Adelaide’s preliminary final against the Swans at the SCG.
Qantas flight 734 – due to depart from Adelaide at 10am for Sydney – was cancelled with little notice on Friday morning as thousands of South Australians prepare to flock to Sydney for the Power’s clash.
Power supporters were left frustrated in airport queues after the flight cancellation, leaving them scrambling to get other flights to the preliminary final.
Power fan Adrian Gatto was on his way to Adelaide Airport for the 10am flight he paid about $1000 for when he learnt it had been scrapped without explanation.
Some supporters, including Mr Gatto, were re-booked on flights to Sydney via Canberra, that were scheduled to arrive in the Harbour City just two hours before the first bounce.
“I’m annoyed, pissed off, disappointed,” Mr Gatto said of learning about his flight.
“It’s not ideal to go to Canberra but it’s out of my control.”
Qantas only added the now-cancelled flight to its schedule this week as a one-off to help Power fans to the game.
“To help more fans cheer on Port Adelaide in the preliminary final, Qantas has added an additional flight between Adelaide and Sydney this Friday,” the airline said on Sunday.
Another Qantas flight is scheduled to depart from Adelaide for Sydney at 11am.
A Virgin flight for Sydney is scheduled to depart at 11.25am and a Jetstar flight is also set to depart for Sydney from Adelaide at 12pm.
Adelaide Airport was unsure as to what caused the cancellation and was seeking confirmation from Qantas.
Qantas has been contacted for comment.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Re: PAFC 2024
My mate was one of them, he's going via Melbourne now.
It's a pity it's Qantas as we're flying Virgin in about 20 mins time.

Better to be safe and cancel a flight than have it "cancelled" mid air...Jim05 wrote:Engineering issues happen daily with all airlines. Just unfortunate it’s today of all times
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
