Re: Whyalla Football League
why did the Whyalla league only put up four players for the Northern Zone in Berri last weekend? Surely not the carbon tax?

See Westies gave North another touch up on the weekend. Looks like the premiership is theirs.

Great to see my old club dominating. Might even travel over to watch them GF day.

Westies have lost their last three GFs.
Could there be more disappointment on the horizon?

A couple of big name South Whyalla players are already shopping themselves around for next year. May be another dark year next year for the Demons if they do decide to pack up and leave.

Different. I was also told one of the players shopped themselves around last year and got offers of $500 and $400 from two Whyalla clubs but stayed at Souths for much less then that - no surprise who those two clubs were though!

Are Centrals a genuine threat? Or did West rest all their players last week. I thought it was a North Vs West GF for sure

What's the GO with all the coaches up there this year. Heard a few changes were inevitable.

Re: Whyalla Football League
I'm hearing one club has used some very unethical tactics to secure a mid-fielder from adelaide. club being w.b.
3 year contract, is a 3 pointer and isnt getting a cent from the club.
I'm sure when the community football board get wind of it they could be in strife.
So could the recruiting person with his employer.
Does not surprise me at all!

Was told this morning that a lower positioned club in Whyalla will lose nearly half their best 21 next year!! Gotta hurt the club (and competition). South Whyalla?

Persistent rumour in Wilmington is that BMW has recently signed three players from Whyalla. Maybe there is a connection here?
