Would go if it was a Day game, Missus gets back from work too late to make the trip from Hallett Cove in time for game time.

Kids too young for a night game at lizbeth...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I heard a rumor it might be making an appearance in the corporate box this week.
Nice attempt by them to hide the song before we got back there after the game, but im sure they soon realised it failed

Cheers for the lift back last night.

Perhaps ironically, I find it much easier to get out to Elizabeth at nighttime. I didn't go to the last game (afternoon) 'coz it meant leaving 'er indoors alone with the crotchfruit for basically the whole day... but at night, the kids are both placidly snoring (at least in theory) so I get to slip the leash.

Last time round the GFC was making noise about putting on a bus from the Bay to 'Lizzy. Hopefully they do it this time. Save a slice of cake for me Centurion!

The lady that was with us all day & night (I had better not say it was my wife, she might bash me). We had a few more beers, blew a shit-load of money, kept playing the gummy bears video which started to annoy the locals, so when we left for The Sussex, I put $5.00 in the jukebox & pressed the gummy bears song to play 5 more times! After The Sussex, things started to become rather vague  Woke up this morning in bed, must have been abducted by aliens again!!
BTW, it's not going to be a cake this week, we're baking 2 dozen Red, White & Blue Gummy Bear Muffins!!

I think the Dogs will need to improve from last weekends performance and yet again, play as close as possible to 4 consistant quarters of football, if they want to beat the Bays underlights. Of course, Glenelg will go in as hot favourites, and rightly so, but I think the final result could go either way and I wouldn't be suprised if the Dogs get up. Will need a tall forward in Cowan, Lawry or maybe the promoted Matty Westhoff to dominate for us and kick 5 or 6 and then down the other end Yves Sibenaler will have another big task trying to quell an in form Todd Grima.

Alot will depend on whether Dan Haveleberg and Jimmy Gowans shrug off their injuries. If they play, we are a real chance, if they miss, we might be in a bit of trouble. There are plenty of kids waiting in the wings but to expect them to step up in a big game is a bit much. Hadden would be close to getting a recall but at who's expense ? It will be an interesting week at selection for this game and I certainly look forward to the big game next Saturday night.

I hate to say it, but Bays by 9 points in another tight one :(
