WHO WILL COACH NA IN 2009 ?

Postby mal » Mon Sep 08, 2008 11:46 am

1 A JARMAN.......deserves 1 more year surely
2 B PHILLIPS....... why not he is a NA boy and a premiership coach
3 B PETERS.......reserves coach and a very popular personality at the club, but never played League footy
4 R JAMES........unknown quantity but would be worth a punt
5 D TILLER........a very strong tip that he is a wanted man to coach NA
6 J ROE............fantastic guy who is doing well at Gepps Cross, a smokey and worth a punt on
6 WEDGIE/PUNK ROOSTER/ROD ROOSTER/ROOSTER MARTY/DREBIN.....could share duties at the club all are great clubmen

Thats the names I have heard being bandied around.
Some from good sources some from others with no great confidence.

If the door is aJAR and a new coach is concieved I reckon David TILLER

Point 6 is quite funny...

Give Jars another 10 years.

I'm with TB, Jars seems to have a very united and loyal team, with a loyal supporter base that gives him
great support...

I'd give Jars at least another 10 years...

There's another name that could be added to that list...
ex-league footballer from a northern suburbs club?

Scott Peters not B Peters mal.

As for the coach in 2009 i have heard several rumours including the one Punk is referring to. Jarman would be a chance to continue but you'd have to think it's unlikely. He has publicly questioned whether he wants to go on and i'd suggest if you are questioning whether you want to go on or not you are not the right person for the job. Should be something you passionately want to do.

I'll add Greg Phillips as a serious/genuine contender.

Whoever the next coach may be, if it isn't Jars, I hope he/she/it are aware of the sniping and public bashing from so-called supporters that they'll have to contend with.

That's like telling the Melbourne media not to speculate about possible trade week moves and which clubs are looking at which players in the National, Pre-Season and Rookie Drafts.

Speculation sells papers and increases hits on this site.

A novel and sound idea. I am sure the board will surprise us all so what is the point of speculating unless it is on the TAB

I'm sure the Bays supporters have given their full support towards all their wonderful coaches during the past 15 years.

Chris Ladhams to coach an underage team at Norwood in 2009 ?
His neck prob may preclude him from ever playing again
He has been linked to Jason Roes mighty Gepps Cross team as playing again but ...
Magnificent player and no doubt would be a magnificent coach if he chooses that path

Lads looked fitter at the ground yesterday. Lost a little weight I'd say.
