GINEVER GONE

Surely by "the Creed" he MUST go now voluntarily or BE SACKED - he was totally outcoached today by a rookie!

I blame the Power, apparantley they stole the creed for their 13 year old club.
And what a treat it worked in the 2007 Grand Final too.

IMO Ginever won't get sacked

1. Its not Ports style and they know they haven't got the players or more imporantly the cash to pay him out.
2. Ginever wont quit as it isn't his style, he didn't shirk the issue in 250 + games of footy he won't start now.

However expect to see a greater proportion of teal at Magpies games this year....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

if they did sack him, who would take over? Port wouldnt do that anyway, they would let him coach out the year and then look at there options for next year.

the problem is he has not developed one junior in his time off of the top of my head.

a number off good juniors have come through the system only to stp developing when they get to senior level.

Centrals the opposite they have only a few come through the juniors but they all kick on when at senior level

The Panthers will add to his headaches next Saturday.

Who cares about Port anyway, they never worried about all the other clubs they have given a hiding to over the years.

Its payback time and we are loving it.

good for them to see how the other half live & also how many were there today & we all used to hear ''we go through thick & thin everyweek" but as lara bingle says ''where the bloody hell are you'' ?
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

As per the creed:

Timmy has "given & received a lot in return from Port Adelaide" - but now is the time to realise that he can not coach at this level and put the club in front of himself and RESIGN.

You or the Club Timmy?

I think he will "fall on his sword" and resign tomorrow as the worst coach in the club's 139 year history.

Who could argue that?

Do the the right thing Timmy and go before you are sacked.

ALLEGEDLY the PAFC Board has held a teleconference this evening and subsequently contacted Ginever and told him that his time is up.

Apparently the players met independently after the game today and their representative contaced the Board to tell them they have had enough.

Ginever has told them he is not budging because he has a contract - go the "CREED"

Bring it on!

So the players are taking no responsibility for their terrible performance today and the last couple of weeks?

Amazing deflection.

Junior results are not always a good indication of future league success.
A lot of very good u19 players for Port were playing in the Reserves on the weekend. They lost by 100 plus points.

Err... I posted a topic 2 YEARS AGO - "Ginever Out" - & got 'howed down'.

You could see then (& I listened to his 1/4 time & 3/4 time addresses), he was NOT up to it...

"C'mon fellas, get the ball... we just have to get the ball... get the ball fellas... this is a recording..."

Completely tactically inept!

Am I surprised by their current record ? NO

Am I pleased by their current record ? YOU BET :D

Do I want them to go broke, like my club did & then have to merge ? ABSO-F**FING-LUTELY !!! :D

Well that attitude is completely abhorent. The pain you must have gone through when your club "went broke and had to merge" must have been horrible and if you are wishing that upon any club be it Port Adelaide or other wise shows to me that you didn't really get hurt by what happened to Woodville and West Torrens. It's a bit like your Grand mother dying and you wish it upon somebody else. If it hurt enough you would not wish it on anyone else at all.

It's fair to say it wont ever happen and if by some absolute disasterous happenings it does then your hybrid conglomerate of average ability would be the best fit for Port to merge with. The two clubs involved in your merge were spinless enough for it to happen once, no reason to think they would go through it again.

See, anyone can be nasty.

I dont think calling them spinless is being nasty Booney.
In fact if you're saying they weren't going around in circles that would have to be construed as a compliment! ;)

Nasty ??? How about the REASON for the FORCED MERGER ???

PORT ADELAIDE & BRUCE WEBBER !!!

You want to talk about 'abhorent'!!! - THAT was abhorent behaviour, Booney

West Torrens was ONLY $300 000 in debt - I say only because now we 'hear' that the 'parent club' (AFL Team) is supposedly $1.3 Million in debt & wants the REST OF THE SANFL to bail it out!!!

If they (The SANFL) had the BALLS in the first place they would've;

If Port Adelaide was to have the 2nd AFL Licence;

1. Made sure NO PAFC existed in the SANFL
2. Did NOT allow the AFL Club to 'take over' Alberton Oval & its confines

The 'survival' of MY CLUB (WTFC) was NEVER seriously discussed in 1990
The decision to merge Woodville & West Torrens was considered the ONLY option.
Don't forget that this decision was AS A RESULT of the VFL Bid from Port.

To go a step further - perhaps you'd like to discuss the issue with a FITZROY Fan from over the border.
Another Club that DIED to accommodate Port Adelaide!
We West Torrens Fans have much empathy with our Fitzroy Kin.

So, I think I have EVERY right to be DIRTY on PAFC & hope that their fans (who I might add have been hanging shite on us ever since the 1991 merger - Hybrids, You're not a true club, etc. etc.), experience the PAIN of FORCED Merger or extinction!

Abhorent Attitude ???
Pfft !!!
